I placed an order for a couple of packs of Fluxomizers to try. I also got the variable voltage battery to try.

How long can you use the Fluxomizers before having to toss them?

The best I've seen is about a week and a half before they start leaking (just a tiny bit) through the battery end. I put 'em in my backup stash at that point, even though they're still viable as backups. You just want to clean the battery pin once in a while. I had one that lasted one day, but it has been the exception...not the rule. The biggest issue I've had is when performing the cup seal mod. I wasn't using the right tool and pulled the guts out of a couple of 'em.

Exactly what are you doing to the cup seal & why? I did a search & found people removing, cutting & flipping them. Also is the cup seal the one on top or above the coils? I have been away from forums for some time.

PS- thanks for all your help!

Remove the top seal and toss it unless you aren't using a drip tip. Remove the middle seal and set it aside, then remove the cup seal and toss it. Fluff the wick, then install the middle seal (groove side down) where the cup seal used to be. I think Gotvapes has a YT video on their channel. Basically you improve the wicking of the Fluxo by doing this. Otherwise you get the infamous burning taste.

I read somewhere they caused condensed fluid in your mouth if not using drip tip. Do you have any problems with the one that comes with them?

Yes. It's an issue. I just basically remove the rubber tip and wipe it out every hour or so, and that's it. I keep meaning to order a drip tip, but I always seem to forget...

Condensed fluid is a problem on most atomizers that produce enough vapor to create good taste. It's even prevalent on the old fiberfill carts that come with the Ego or Riva. I guess when you boil liquid you eventually get enough juice condensed on the bottom of the cap to get through the hole and into your mouth.

I think the center ring that everyone removes is supposed to make condensation drip back down on the coil.

Mindfield came up with the idea of putting another top ring in on top. As in from another Fluxo. Works great. Cuts condensation by 70-80%.
