So to give you guys some background, I personally don't vape. I know it's not anywhere near as bad for you as cigarettes but I still want to play it safe since it's relatively new and it we don't seem know yet to what extent its safe. So again I personally don't plan on starting.

That being said, there was one time when I was hanging with a group of friends and one of them had a vape. I was curious to at least see what it was like so I took a puff (or a hit or whatever the correct term here it I have no idea). When I did I immediately spoke afterward and I noticed my voice was way deeper than normal.

The reason I bring that up is because I'm making a small video game project and am planning on voicing the characters. One of them I want to have a low voice but my vocal range ends slightly below where I want that characters pitch to be.

I've heard the reason why vaping lowers your pitch is because the water vapor is denser than the air, and if that's the case, can you use a vape with just water vapor? If so, then. I'd do that when voicing the character.

If it's something else in it that makes your voice lower, can you use a vape with just that (unless it's a potentially bad chemical)? Thanks!

I suppose, technically, it could be done. I'd be worried about scalding myself, personally. I also don't think you'll have a lot of luck with standard vape gear. With most of it you start getting wicking problems when juice water content exceeds 5-10%. Water is a lot thinner than e-juice.

I suspect the low voice thing you got was more because of what was in that person's vape, and not merely vaping itself.

A stong hit on high wattage mod does something to your throat.

No you can't just vape water.

Well, a while back I attempted to wash a coil... So it was wet. Not a good idea!!! It just tasted all burned up.

I always rinse my coils when I dry-burn them. But then when you re-wick, you prime it all with ejuice, you silly goose!

Current from a battery vabd water doesn't mix, and may be extremely dangerous.

I would get an RDA and vape pure VG (Vegetable Glycerin).
