Hi, My zmax broke a few months ago and I just recently received a zmax rev 2 board.

I contacted the supplier for any documentation they had and all they could give me was a wire diagram. but it has two 18650 IMR's in it. Will two protected 14500 batteries work with a Zmax rev 2 PCB?

I'm pretty ignorant to electronics I feel. I was planning on putting it into a 3xAA box-mod. Luck be had, my 3.7 box-mod broke today. I just dont want to mess anything up >.<. Thank you all so much, this forum is a true blessing! I really need to get something vaping tonight and all I have is an ego I kept as a backup. With college finals tommorow its not keeping up one bit, he.

Hi Manumit - The Zmax needs safe chemistry batteries capable of high drain, IMR, not protected batteries. You will also need to check your amp limits. I suggest you get 5 posts here in new members and then you can post in the modders section of ECF. You need to know what you are doing with this.
