How long will they keep my parcel before making a decision. They've had it a week with no word on what they are doing.

just had an order refused by cbsa and health canada last week. order shipped from florida aug 6. got stuck in customs at St. Laurent. on aug 14th. they held on to it for a month before sending it back to the shipper. rec'd letter from HC around the 24th of august stating they would suggest to cbsa it be refused as it contained nic. luckily i contacted te supplier yesterday and they did a full refund of my $171 to my visa. sadly this will be the end of my attempting to import from the states as it's my 2nd shippment in less than 2 years to be refused.
Once they find one shipment, you can bet you're name and address is on a list somewhere for future shipments.
...I'm done with US suppliers now. There's plenty of reliable vendors up here now and B&M popping up all over the place too.
Does anyone know if they actually take the stuff out and test it, or if they just look at the bottles/packing slip/receipt to determine the nicotine content? I placed an order from MOV about a month ago, and it arrived at Customs Nov. 13th. Canada Post still shows the package as "sent to customs for further processing"... Going on week 3 now that it's been there. The thing is, I know that MOV marks all the bottles 0mg as well as the receipt and packing slip, so I figure they're either just being dicks and holding it for no reason, or they're testing it. Really hoping it's not the latter. I've been vaping for about a year and a half, and this is the first time I've ever had anything held at customs for more than a couple days, feeling a bit anxious about it.
