Hey Guys,

I'm going to begin with a bold statement:

The prices of atomizers in Canada (and almost every ecig-related product) are ridiculously high. $12.99 for an LR Joye 510 atomizer? Absolute robbery, I don't care how risky or flawed the shipping system is, it just cannot be justified.

Basically does anyone know of a Canadian vendor that sells IKV, Cisco or Joye atomizers at prices Lower than $10.00? I cannot stand purchasing from the US any longer and I think it is important to support suppliers in our own country, but the shipping costs, coupled with the artificially inflated prices of atomizers makes it difficult. I have done a lot of snooping around in what I think are the top 10 Canadian vendors and the only one who offers a good deal is MLV, but they have been "out of stock" for a long time now.

Can anyone help a frustrated canadian out? :D

I wish I could find a good vendor as well. Vaporkings prices are so cheap, too bad they don't ship to Canada.

I still use rtdvapor.com for atomizers. Great prices, cheap and fast shipping to Canada. I cannot justify spending twice the amount plus higher shipping for the same atomizers that I can get from the US far cheaper.

Unfortunately, MLV and Happy are the only ones I know that carry Ikenvape or Cisco.

canvape.com just opened up and sells atties pretty cheaply though. I don't think they're genuine Joye though, I'll have to ask him.

Awesome, let me know if you hear anything.

I love HappyVaper for their presence and awesome customer service, but their prices are just not reasonable.

The supplier is a great guy! Should be at the GTA meet tomorrow too. Gotta see if he will bring me a couple of goodies :D

I know he's got a few for me. :D Waiting on a shipment though. But he carries my injection molded CE2s -- otherwise known as the Fluxomizers that I love so much. That alone means I'm going to be doing a fair bit of shopping there. :D

Your welcome :D I actually gave him his first one, plus a Vision and a CE2 Rev5 (the ones right before the CE2-D)

You suggested he carry them? Well then that deserves thanks. :D They're still fiddly out of the box, but after the O-ring and donut mods they're freaking monsters. I've got about a box and a half left of my original Fluxo order from GotVapes (ordered 6 boxes in August) so I'm going to need to stock up soon. Also looking forward to checking out the X7s when he gets them, and I'm glad I don't have to go to GotVapes for those. Maybe I should see if he could get the new injection molded Visions, too. I've modded my v2 Visions and they vape like crazy but it would be so much easier to mod with the new tubes.

Yeah we were talking about them and I had extra's so I gave him a couple and he loved them. I was just happy to help someone.
As long as the X7's don't turn out to be like the sapphires (not so good IMHO) then I'll get some. I'm just far to cautious with anything bottom coil now.
Yeah the new Visions are incredible with that plastic. Truth be told, I never had an issue right out of box. Just had to lift up the cup seal a hair and I was tickled pink with them.

Yeah I'll be seeing him tomorrow at the meet and get to chat.

I know people want to support Canadian vendors, etc, but if you want Cisco or IKV atties, why not go to the source? I know IKV's been down for a while, but it looks like the last of the issues with the website are getting ironed out, and it "should" be back up any day now. Depending on shipping options, Avid Vaper can get them to you quickly if needed.

I understand that Canadian vendors need to make a profit. I wouldn't do what they do for free either, but marking up atties so much will encourage people to seek other alternatives. Let's take HV and MLV as examples... HV has Cisco atties, MLV has IKV. HV has their Cisco's ($7.99 atty from Avid) marked up to $12.99. MLV has their IKV's at $8.99, which is IMO a much more reasonable markup.

I love HV. I've made more than a few purchases from them. If I need a new Cherry Vape DT (or 4...) I go there. $8 DT's for $8.99. Not a bad markup. It's all about doing your research as a consumer, and comparing prices from different sources, and deciding where to get what you want.

My :2c:

Keep in mind though that importation costs are higher for Canadian vendors -- shipping and duty -- so at least a little of that extra markup is to cover that. Then too, some vendors have a high MOQ, or a higher markup on product if you make a lower order quantity, so vendors either have to buy a truckload of pantsful, or pay a premium to order smaller quantities if they can't afford (or don't have the space) to place large orders.

Not that all of the markup is necessarily justified (nor does it really need to be, that's what competition is for :)), but we can't expect to pay the same prices as in the US either.
