Yea this was the one i was looking at...I didnt know that about the .5ml cartridge. That sounds like it would become a pain in the ... to refill constantly. Would you recommend the regular 510 instead? Or a different kit entirely? Thanks for all this help btw...I really appreciate it!!

You're welcome. If I'm a bit slow I'm quite ill yet still worked a full day- no pity just explaining. The problem with those kits is not only the small cartridge but the battery life- although rated at 180 or 280 mah they weaken quickly.
Give me a minute.

Sick for a month- thanks I feel better already :D

With the 510 Kit you originally wanted you could order these delivery devices (holds and vaporizes the juice):
https://www.canvape.com/product-p/vnano.htm
Because the 510 is automatic there are air holes in the end of the battery- you have to be v=careful to not allow any juice into the batt as it may damage the battery.

Edit: the air holes in the batt are there so when we inhale the battery is activated cuz of the inhalation. Manual batteries are sealed (button activated) and are less susceptible to juice damage.

The Canvape web site also shows a location at:
Downsview Park Merchants Market:
40 Carl Hall Road, Toronto, M3K 2B6
(Downsview Park - Sheppard Ave. W. and Keele)
Open: Saturday & Sunday, 10:00am - 6:00pm
1st row end of the aisle corner.

From my vast experience, 2 weeks now :) , if you get a 510 kit you'll probably move up to something with better battery life soon.
It's still very handy to have a cigarette type device as a backup though.
My wife uses a clearomizer and eGo battery at home and an eCig when she goes out in public. She doesn't like having to explain the eGo and clearomizer. People are getting accustomed to seeing the cigarette type devices. She also like the cigarette feel.

Or you could buy the eRoll- reviews have been very positive BUT the accessories are proprietary so when buying new delivery device you have to get eRoll specific stuff. The batteries are only 90 mah but very powerful as they fire at 3,.7 volts. The small PCC (personal charging case) is a self contained battery/ charging unit and is 1000 mah. Surprising to say but many ECF Vets/ longtime vapers are using this PV.
https://www.canvape.com/product-p/eroll.htm
2 - 90 mAh batteries
1 - eRoll charger (with adapter)
1 - Body
2 - Atomizer Heads Type-A Tank
3 - Tank Cartridges
1 - portable charger (Personal Charging Case - PCC)
Here's a review by well known Canuck VaporChase

Hi Ang-EC. That's the stall I go to and he's got to have at least 50 diff PVs there- quite a display along with juices, delivery devices.

I don't want to complicate things but you can also use cartomizers, in standard resistance (SR), like these.
They can be refilled 3 or 4 times, come in a 5 pack and hold about 1 ml of juice. You can fill all 5 and carry them with you. When one runs out just change to a full one.
They are a little harder to fill than a clearomizer and usually come in limited colours, black or stainless.

One last point- with these smaller min cig sized PVs you are limited to the types of accessories you can use as they're not powerful enuff. The next step up is the eGo class- generally 650- 1100 mah

Here's a review on an eGo "type" PV- just so you can see the size of it. The bonus is the long battery life and the fact you can attach a 1.6 ml tank to it.

Hahaha sorry dude...its not winter in the tdot till you've been sick at least 8 times.

I'm going to take your recommendation and order a delivery device with the kit (bonus it comes in pink). Knowing myself this will be the first of many "gadget" orders to come so I'll start with this and take it from there.

Thanks again for helping me out and I hope you feel better!! Maybe they have some Vicks vape juice somewhere - that would be amazing.

I've been looking at this 808D kit for my wife.
I know 808 isn't as popular as 510 but it's a nice looking little setup.

Do you have any experience with these?

Sorry Anne1028, I'll stop hijacking your thread now.

Yes they had some issues awhile ago with the PCC. Just my opinion but the PCC is too large- 1950 mah would be good for a number of days- batteries would wear out long before the PCC did. There's some good PCCs and some low quality PCCs is my experience and the lack of quality seems to be not with the batteries but with the case which is the most expensive item. ALL IMHO.

Ang-EC has a great point about the cartomizers. You could prefill them put the "condoms"/ caps ( I didn't name them that) on
and carry them in a Tic Tacs container- they fit perfectly. Don't forget juice and you'll have to figure out the mg/ nicotine level.

When I first started vaping over 2 years ago I had already been trying unsuccessfully to quit smoking for a couple of years, I knew that much of the habit was psychological and so I wanted something to look and feel as much as possible like a traditional cigarette. I started with an automatic mega 510 kit and I killed the batteries within the first 30 days. As was mentioned earlier, it's quite easy to get juice into these auto batteries and kill them. I then moved on to an ego kit and found that I really didn't miss the look or feel of a traditional cigarette nearly as much as I thought that I would. The main advantage of the ego sized batteries is longer vaping time as well as more power (more vapor production.) I would strongly recommend going for something with an ego sized battery,(an ego twist would be even better so you could adjust the voltage) because you will eventually move up to at least something of that size eventually anyway. Topped off with a clearomizer it's really hard to beat.

edit: By the way I highly recommend Vaporus.com. Song over there has given me nothing but excellent customer service. Highly recommended.
