Could someone please explain the Ban in Canada. I was under the state of thought that Ecigs were banned there . After reading some of the threads under the ECF Canadian section It looks like these guys are still getting orders.

How is this happening?

Is it just a ban on imports, with it being legal to buy and sell within Canada?

HC sent out an advisory that ecigs should not be imported or sold. Whether HC has the authority to back such an edict and what powers they have to enforce it is another matter. With the global nature of the economy, it is not possible for customs to inspect even a small percentage of packages so the majority get through without issue.

The ban is on the nicotine liquid. The devices are unclassified and are not covered.
