Cannot connect from home

For some reason, ever since the 10th, I cannot connect to the sight from my house. I've tried FF, Chrome, and IE. I can connect from anywhere else (work, friends house, my phone as long as it's not connected to my wifi). Is there a possibility that my IP got mistakenly banned during the site upgrade?

Are you connected through a router? If so, have you tried resetting it?

Yes I am connected via a router, and I have power cycled both it and my modem. However, I have not yet tried connecting my modem directly to my computer nor have I done a hard reset (holding down the reset button to clear everything) of my router. The strange thing is, I can resolve the IP address of the ECF server, but I cannot ping it, and when I do a TraceRoute, it always gets stuck when connecting to some server (liquidweb.com I believe)

Edit: Also wanted to add that I have cleared my cache, cookies, and temp internet files via CCleaner, as well as cleared my DNS and tried switching my DNS servers from openDNS back to my ISP's DNS servers, all to no avail.

Sounds like possibly a router issue. It happens from time to time. Try to connect the modem directly to your computer, and if that doesn't work, shoot me a PM with the IP address and I'll take a look from this end, just in case.

If you can't get any further then we'll ask our server tech to look at it as you could be blocked by the server firewall for some reason. Sounds like that's what it is.

Ok so the direct connection to the modem did it. However, it looks like some of the settings look different, so I'm gonna hook back into the router and check it out. I'll post my findings back here.

Update: Wierd, it seems as though I'm assigned different IP's depending on whether I'm hooked up to the router or the modem. I sent Angus a PM with the details.

Sounds like you have a cable connection, therefore you can choose to connect direct via the modem, or to a network router connected to the modem. As I understand it, direct connection to the modem allows you to reach ECF, but connection via the router is not successful. Hmm, some kind of issue with the router...

Can you go to this site please:

The IP addresses i get from that site are the same ones I gave to Angus. If you still need them, please have him forward the info to you as I don't feel comfortable posting my IP address in the public forum and you don't seem to be accepting PM's.
