I did clean it. I even washed my (Real) Kangers. but you "Assumed" that I did not and instead of answering the question chose to write a lie.
I forgot to mention but the "EVOD" also leaked. Why are you offended? you call sticking a sticker on a piece of junk straight from Alibaba "Rebranding" ? I call it selling snake oil to globule newbies. Most of the comments here are great, cannot say that about yours. I realize you guys are having a ball with the lack of regulations, but if you take it too far it will screw us all in the long run.
You don't get it. Of the options suggested, only one was a cheap off-brand, and the fasttech evods actually have good reviews. You said you didn't want to be breathing in gunk from China, end so don't, clean it as you did your Kanger tank - so I don't get what your big deal is. The other two products I recommended (from an American site) are also generally recognized as some of the best beginner VV/VW devices; a smaller one and a box mod, so you can choose between a size you're familiar with, and the 'car battery' you probably won't feel comfortable with. Personally, I went with both.
I'm sorry your first experience buying something off-brand went so poorly for you, but even the Provari uses rebranded Chinese products; in fact, if you use anything in your Provari than AW batteries, which are assorted other batteries that are tested with a new label slapped on, you void your warranty. Sometimes you can't get any better than genuine rebranded Chinese junk.
The key word there is 'tested', and that applies to a lot of rebranded/no brand products on Fast Tech - read the reviews, make your decision, and if it breaks due to QC, you get a new one or your money back.

I would never knowingly buy juice from China. That's just asking for trouble, IMO. The gear, on the other hand...there's really no way around that.

What assurance do you have that a juice made in the USA is any better? There is no regulation in the US for juice manufacture. NONE!! ZERO!!! NUNCA!!! ZIP!!!!

I saw a video of a chinese based e-juice manufacturing process, and it would be interesting to find if ANY of the US manufacturers use the same quality controls as I saw in the video.

The closest you can come:

www.Naturally-Extracted-Tobacco.com, e-liquids for electronic cigarettes

*Naturally Ext. Cigar Vapes, MyVapeJuice.com

All Natural Net Eliquids | Goodejuice

I discovered Naturally Extracted Tobacco eliquids shortly after I began vaping. First I started with Halo, then moved on to Heather's Heavenly Vapes and Goodejuice -- and I haven't regretted a minute of it. HHV's would be too sweet for for you, but NET.com, MyVapeJuice's new extracted cigars, or classic Goodejuice liquids (try the Analog, Patriot, and Acadian Gold) should meet your needs.

More information can be found: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-liquid-discussion/274904-natural-tobaccos.html

Thanks! that sounds really different ! sounds like Hybrid - call it "Smaping" ? ; I will definitely try at least one. I guess since the danger in analogs was due to the chemical treatment of tobacco and the added chemicals (in short - the delivery system), vaping a cigar extract should be safer (I will try it in any case :)).

I just realize the confusion; I meant I don't trust Chinese hardware and totally avoid Chinese Vape \ Smoke. its the Chinese pharma that scares me not their engineering.

I moved from smoking Cigarettes to nicotine patches and cigars years ago, but always missed smoking. Imagine my joy finding out about ecigs.
however, I must say I have yet to find an ejuice that will give me he pleasure of a good cigar or Marlboro light (yes, I tried Halo sampler which was too sweet, local is trash which messed up my coils, JC Oak domestic was okay; Mt. Baker in mail - cannot find a good juice. I walked in local shops and the situation is dismal.
I am currently waiting for a shipment from Mt. Baker.

Do you have any suggestions? PLEASE DO NOT POST SMALL ONE PERSON "MANUFACTURERS" - I can order virgin nicotine juice and mess with it myself. also I would not put in my lungs anything not MADE In USA (all ingredients).
I tried looking at the forums but it seems gibberish - all you see is ppl pushing their own mix or writing Halo.

Thevaporroom.net is a good place for juice. I'm not a big fan of sweet flavors so I stick to the coffee shop or bakery blends.

Who recommended you try Chinese juice? All the juice recommendations I've tried from here were US juices. I've only seen bad reviews of Chinese juice save for the original, RY4 that came from China. Do you mean all of the ingredients in even the US mixed juices? I don't think there are many vendors that will source out where, exactly, they get their PG, VG, nicotine and flavoring from. There is one vendor in California that will include a complete, scientific, chemical analysis of the juice they send you with each order. They are called Nude Nicotine. They also provide DIY bases, and I think they extract their own nicotine. I ordered from them because they had a Black Friday sale, but I chose the wrong flavor I think. Got their Mayan Mocha, but no vendor has really gotten chocolate right I think, and as a chocolate lover it was just disappointing. However, if you are looking for something like complete analysis of what is in the juice, I'd give them a try. I actually mean to try them again. The sample they sent of apple pie ala mode was actually pretty decent.

It seems like every few months we're finding out about how contaminated some Chinese product is. Foods, toys, pet products, etc.. They are accountable to NO ONE. I work with Thermo Scientific Niton occasionally...they make XRF analyzers and are always finding bad stuff in Chinese manufactured goods.

https://blogs.law.harvard.edu/billofhealth/2013/10/10/taking-chinas-food-safety-problem-seriously-i/

I'll pass and take my chances with the pride of workmanship and craft that US manufacture seems to innately aspire to. Besides - China has set the bar SUPER high for unsafe food, so choosing anywhere else as a source would probably be a good gamble.

Wow ... nice (breaking bad nice :)). as someone who spent some time in lab I am impressed ; yes I guess there is no regulation here neither, however when an American runs a business and has an address and a face which is something. all the stainless chambers UV and clean rooms wont be worth a damn if there is no fear of consequences. what's going to happen to that place after the scheduled audit ? who knows. on the other hand lets say Halo or Mt. B or JC decide to kill me one day, understandable as it may be, they are never the less under US Jurisdiction. I didn't want to spell it out earlier in fear of offending my Chinese brothers (I am of mixed family as well) but China is a LAWLESS country - the wild wild east. the only law is money. Just go through a few articles from the economist on the judicial system. that's why ppl come here. I have peers and friends who live like king overseas refusing to come over until their kids start getting sick (I can compile a list for you). I do not trust Anything food and drug related that is made outside the USA and neither should you.

Not looking to hijack the thread ... when I saw this video, all that came to mind was ...

This is how the FDA and Health Canada is going to hand the eLiquid business over to BT ... either set one of these facilities up, or you're out.

Knocking the US vendors and all of the recommendations on this site as spam doesn't sound like someone who only wants to be careful about Chinese juice. You didn't like Halo, you read about it here, so everything else is spam too? Also, what was up with the comment about how we.re all enjoying the lack of regulation? There seems to be a lot of disdain for the ecig business by you in general, not just Chinese vendors. You came for help, yet you come across as someone who looks down on the whole thing. It's new. It's still in its infancy. That's no reason to take everything you read here as some nefarious scam to take your money. There are a lot of helpful people here who honestly want you to succeed at quitting cigarettes and make the recommendations they make because that's what they've had success with. Trust me, I wish I was getting free juice to recommend a vendor. There are thousands of people on this board. Either you want their help or not. Of you want their help, don't put them down.

And I thought the same as you, so I specifically asked Vapor 4 Life about their juice sourcing. They sent me that. Vapor 4 Life has been a big player in the e-cig market for quite sometime, and as far as accountability goes, I do trust them that it is in their best interest not to source garbage.

They actually took the effort to take the question to heart and made the effort and expense to go to their supplier and inspect their facilities.

This does not mean I would buy ANY juice from China, however, my two primary juices come from ECBlends and V4L. ECBlends and V4L have been around for quite sometime. ECBlends is US made, and V4L seems dedicated to ensure the quality of their sourced juice as seen by the video.

Of course your mileage may vary. I feel comfortable ordering from both vendors.

Yes I would be comfortable trying from them specifically (its basically going back to my point, even though they manufacture in China They are monitoring it)

My bookmark list thus far for major vendors:
backwoodsbrew.net
ECBlend (seems like a major)
Vapor 4 Life
Want2Vape
Plume Room
Nicoticket
Life Vapor
mister eliquid
Ahlusion (seems Very posh, nice Navy couple)
Mt. Baker (seems like a Major one)
Halo (Cannot go wrong)
JC (Oak)

I also buy from a local guys brewing here in Concord CA (its ten min drive and they make it here, they are okay)

last but not least - going to try DIY with some recopies as well (cant wait :)

Regarding the equipment : if it vapes well on a Halo G6 low res cart (worse case scenario I guess - I use G6 in public, Protank elsewhere) then its a big plus

I remember when i got my first ego style battery and protank the juice that got me off cigarettes for good was Wyatt Earp by FreedomSmokeUSA and it's still my favorite tobacco style juice. It's doesnt really have a "nutty" tone like a lot of them have. Read the long list of reviews on it on the website to see how people describe it as i'm not good with that sort of thing

I wonder how all the Chinese people fare in their country? With everything said they must be dying off left and right? No? My word makes that country sound scary as ever!

Anyway I have nothing when it comes to juice I'm still on the hunt so weirdly enough this thread which I have been reading and has provided me some entertainment on an incredibly slow workday has also been very informative -- for those of u I say thank u!

To Tink -- strange your experience with the iclear 16's. I received 5 of them when I ordered my itaste and so far I've used 4 and pretty consistently over the past oh 6 weeks or so (I rotate all of them all day long) and I haven't had 1 leak on me yet. I'm actually pleasantly surprised by them. So far I must say the iclear's and the Aspires are doing really really good and "juice delivery" has been the hardest part for me anyways. Well that and OF COURSE finding an ADV.
