Google Spinfuel. They are an online vape magazine that seems to offer impartial reviews. Further, since taste is subjective for the most part, they usually have 4 people review the juice using several different devices (the device itself can change to flavor of the same juice). They will only award a juice a Spinfuel award if ALL the people who reviewed the juice give it a 5 out of 5. This may be a bit of a more organized way to narrow down your choices if you do not trust the members of this forum.

Thanks Thinkiegirl its AWSOME I LOVE it - I had no idea this magazine existed. started reading it (BTW - always felt as if anything under 18mg is "un-natural" and they have vindicated me)

I moved from smoking Cigarettes to nicotine patches and cigars years ago, but always missed smoking. Imagine my joy finding out about ecigs.
however, I must say I have yet to find an ejuice that will give me he pleasure of a good cigar or Marlboro light (yes, I tried Halo sampler which was too sweet, local is trash which messed up my coils, JC Oak domestic was okay; Mt. Baker in mail - cannot find a good juice. I walked in local shops and the situation is dismal.
I am currently waiting for a shipment from Mt. Baker.

Do you have any suggestions? PLEASE DO NOT POST SMALL ONE PERSON "MANUFACTURERS" - I can order virgin nicotine juice and mess with it myself. also I would not put in my lungs anything not MADE In USA (all ingredients).
I tried looking at the forums but it seems gibberish - all you see is ppl pushing their own mix or writing Halo.

When I first moved over to vaping I to wanted tobacco flavors and the only ones I found to not be to sweet and give a quality throat hit were from mount Baker
USA tobacco 24mg 50pg 50vg
american tobacco Same as above

Found best throat hit with no burnt taste vaping on my Ego c twist atleast at 4.2 volts

Thanks I will definitely try the USA (mmm 24mg - haven't tried that before; 50/50 neither; American maybe later as its a dark blend and I have been going through coils - perhaps a catomizer); I also ordered their 555 (PG 20 VG 80 18mg, before I read your post); haven't got a variable voltage yet (mine runs 3.7 charged on 1.8 Ohm coil - perhaps that is the culprit)

You're spending all this time and money trying to find a good juice, and you're still using a standard ego battery? Did your research never once mention, say, a $12 evod/twist combo from fast tech? $40 for a itaste vv3 with a protank 2 from 101vapes? MVP2 and iclear 30 for $40?

Would you put premium tobacco in a fresh corn cob pipe?

This is a whole new thing and I know it's difficult finding the right flavors. Some of us do like Halo juices, one of my favorites comes from them. I've yet to find one vendor or even two vendors that I can buy all the flavors I like from. It's one from here, one from there. Vaping is way better than smoking and part of the experience is being able to try new flavors. Good luck!!

Thanks Suzan; I will keep an open mind - its a whole new world and change is usually good.

I use a 900 mah 3.7V on Protank Mini 2 1.8Ohm - not a cob pipe. it seems to work well, but you are right how would I know - I have been Vaping only for about a month (This is the new members area - right?) . I will not order from Fast Tech, 650mah does not meet my daily need and the voltage will drop quite quickly and it does not seem as a reputable company (I know Kanger, Inokin... never heard of them, and the pictures are not convincing - seems like a sticker they put on Alibaba product).

The 101 website seems okay, but I am not going to go around with a car battery just to hit high voltage. I use low res coils - for now.

Inokin are a great company there mvp 2.0 is awsome great batt mod for beginners and pros gives you variable volts and watts

This thread may help you narrow down a few vendors that you can try out:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...discussion/304212-top-5-vendors-e-liquid.html

Here is one regarding tobaccos:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-liquid-discussion/274904-natural-tobaccos.html

I found a good dry, ashy tobacco from The Plume Room that I used when I first gave up my Marlboros: Type M. It did leave me feeling as if I had a cigarette. After a couple of months I branched out and no longer like the taste.

Finding a juice that you like enough to vape most of the day is a daunting task. Taste varies so much from person to person. Try to find the sample packs from a few vendors. And remember, your tastes will change after vaping for a while. What tastes good today you may not like 2 months from now and visa versa.

They may be the "walmart" of e-juice but I really enjoy my ECBlends juices.

They are made in the USA, which may ease your mind, but is no guarantee of quality. They have many many flavors, and they offer very small sample sizes so you can try a lot of flavors before settling down on your faves.

I vape green apple from them which reminds me of a Jolly Rancher.
I also like their cinnamon apple and their Thin Mint Cookie.

The Thin Mint Cookie flavor is pretty incredible. You get a nice cool hit of mint on the intake, and you can taste the "cookie" on the outtake.

The only thing with ECBlend juices is that they make many of their juices to order and as such require some steeping prior to using.

I'm also partial to Wowboy from Vapor 4 Life. They have been around since I first tried vaping in 2009 using old cartomizers on a KR8080D battery. Their juice, unfortunately, is imported. But they have been around for quite some time. I say unfortunately in the loosest terms.

I do not automatically equate Chinese manufacturing with low quality. Especially nearly all our phones, tablets, batteries and the like are manufactured in Shenzhen. Since there is no official over sight of any e-juice manufacturer, US makers can just as easily cut corners and use substandard processes as the Chinese. Made in the USA is no guarantee of high quality and sanitary conditions. One just has to read the papers to recognize that. (like that compounding pharmacy in Boston that gave all those people menegitis)

The Chinese invented the e-cig as we know it and I've seen a video of the manufacturing process at one of the plants V4L uses, and it's pretty high tech and sanitary.

Your Ego on a 1.8 ohm coil isn't really the problem. That's a little over 7.5 watts and I usually vape around 7-8 watts and have no problem and I'm using an MVP usually. People that think you need more than this are misguided and are usually vapor chasers in that they are looking for the maximum amount of vapor. I'm more interested in flavor and high wattage will usually mute the flavor.

The Plume Room has really good tobacco flavors in their M-Type and Menthol type with natural tobacco. I'll also suggest Nicoticket's H1N1 which is a very complex tobacco vape that has some caramel vanilla hints but changes to a maple over time and I highly suggest. Also Good Life Vapor's El Kamino which has a chocolatey tobacco note to it and is really nice.

Ive found 555 to be to sweet myself and kinda a wonky flavor no matter where I've orders it. Ive knocked out a couple coils with American lol USA is my go to vape for tobacco style vapes

Probably useful to add I use a Kanger protank 2

I went to 50/50 because I got tired of gurgling when I had a Ismoka tank. After the switch I had no leak or gurgle issues. Stayes 50/50 after switch to kanger protank 2 still great flavor and throat hit

Finding a juice you like can be extremely frustrating when you're just getting started and the memory of tobacco is still fresh in your mind. In truth, you won't find anything that exactly replicates the experience of smoking. If flavor is the sticking point for you, you're best bet is going to be a NET (naturally extracted tobacco) juice. Want2Vape and NET.com are both good choices for juices that actually taste like tobacco - pipe or cigar more than cigarette, but tobacco nonetheless. I only know Want2Vape by reputation, but I can vouch for NET. com. Give their website a look or read thru their subforum and see what you think. If cravings are persisting, you might want to look into WTA (whole tobacco alkaloid) juices. Google or search EFC for more info.

101vape.com has a good deal on the iTaste VVv3. It is an Ego sized battery. 800mAh and it's variable volt and variable wattage. It will also read the ohms of your coil. The express kit is $25. It also acts as a passthrough, which means you can vape while it's charging. 101vape.com is an American company. Most vaping gear you will see though, originate in China, as China invented the ecig basically. Brand names such as Kanger, Innokin, and Joytech are all still Chinese companies. The egos you are using are likely from China originally.

101vape.com does what most American ecig companies does. They buy wholesale from China and sell it here. This does not mean they are not a reputable company. They offer some of the best prices on genuine, name brand gear. This gear however, are Chinese name brands. Most in the vaping world knows the gear comes from China. If this is an issue, you may wish to look into Provape. They sell the Provari, which is a high quality, variable volts device made entirely in the US, but you will pay a premium for that.

No one here is trying to keep secrets from you about excellent e-liquid and American companies. There simply is not the corporate presence you are looking for in America as of yet for e cigs unless you only buy the cigalike kits from companies owned by the big tobacco companies. If a lot of people are saying good things about a particular company, it's because they had a good experience with that company. It doesn't mean it's spam because xyz product came from China. China made is simply unavoidable in the vaping world right now unless you're willing to pay a great deal of money.

Check out backwoodsbrew.net They are known for their tobacco flavors and have been around for several years. Personally, I don't do tobacco anymore so I can't suggest a specific one for you. The site does an excellent job describing each one. I use their cinnamon bun and espresso flavors. Their sizes range from 10ml up to 120ml. Prices are avg for quality juices. They have been my main juice supplier for going on 3 years.
