Looks like he still sells the rubbish cartomizers though, it's important to use the Boge cartomizers with the 808, the old Kanger style cartomizers are crap.

How can I tell which I have? Boge or Kanger? I recently bought the cig2o kit. It's supposedly the kr808 with a sticker on it. Being a noob.. I wouldn't know what is rubbish. I'd like to know. Thanks.

The Boge ones are slightly longer and don't have the '.... plug' in the rubber cap like the Kanger ones. There is a BIG difference in the performance.

Thanks for the answer. Not having the other brand in my possession.. I got nothing to compare it too. Hopefully, I have Boge. heh.. :)

If they have a ....-plug in the rubber caps at the battery end then they're the Kanger style. Also if they don't produce loads of vapor right from the get-go on a fresh one or need some puffs to break them in, that's another sign they're the Kanger style ones.

Cigeasy has long-lasting batteries for the 808 as well. They have the "Elegant" which they say lasts 8-12 hours, and the "Elegant XXL", which is 1300mah. I just got the "Elegant" but I haven't had time yet to test out the 8-12 hour claim. I don't know the Mah rating on that one, so I can't say if their claims are valid or not.

Mine have the plug in the batt end. I guess they're kanger. Thanks for the help! I'll be shopping. ;)

All are great choices. If you are going to buy an Ego or a 510 I'd reccomend getting it from Janty because of their warranty and customer service. Sometimes the cheapest product isnt always the best. Strictlyejuice also carries a 6 month warranty on their batteries but they are out of stock right now. Janty carries a 6 month on atomizers though. So it's well worth the buy. Good luck on your choice.

Thanks everyone! I went and ordered a KR808D-1 from FSUSA. I went with them because I hear they have fast shipping and I'm very impatient (and running out of carts ;)) One more question, are the KR808 cartos hard to refill?

Their cartos are the crap ones, better go get some Premium ones from somewhere.

Ok, thanks! Also how do I get those "pinched" tips? Are the carts, cartos or tips?

They are called drip tips, you can pull off the rubber end cap on the cartomizer and put one on there if you wish.

They are available at almost every vendor, although the biggest selection would have to be at Nhaler.com

Looking at your options I would have said to go with an eGo. Having recently received my new Boge Leo I would definitely have to recommend this one, even though it is not one you're considering. It is, for me, by far the best PV I've ever used. It's great in the car, no fumbling to drip, huge 801 cart holds plenty of juice and the vapor is just wow! I seriously recommend looking into it further. It's fairly new on the market and I'm sure in due time it will be extremely popular with most folks.

Jen, you may have noticed that the answers you are getting bounce first one way and then another. KR808D-1s have a lot of fans, and 510/eGo ecigs have a lot of fans. There simply is no absolute best, only what you personally like the most. I tried DR808D-1s and for me they did not produce as much vapor as a 510. But others absolutely love 'em, and don't like a 510 at all. Some love cartos (I don't, but prefer atty/carts by far). And keep in mind that besides the eGo, there are 510 xl batts with 280 mah if you prefer a 510 with longer battery life, but small form factor.

I wish I could say that you will make the right purchase if you....(fill in the blank). But honestly, you may have to try both, and even others besides, before you find what you really like.
