I know it's a matter of personal opinion and is like comparing apples to oranges, but my opinion seems to flip-flop and apples are cheaper than oranges.

I've been lusting after the REO mini for some time. I'd love a bottom-fed box mod with high quality build and great execution. The idea of having great vapor all day without refilling is very important. But what if it leeks like others or doesn't juice the atty properly and doesn't give me as good of a vape as direct dripping (which I do almost exclusively)? If the concept of a bottom-feeder is pulled off flawlessly, I couldn't resist.

I've also been lusting over the OmeGa and Prodigy. Both have solid, precision tooling and can run at 3.7 or 6 volts. Now, I've not yet tried 6 volts and I know no one can answer which I'll prefer, but since I'm only spending on one high-quality mod, I feel like I may prefer the choice of 3.7 or 6 and have a beautifully crafted piece of quality American made heavy duty machinery, with which I'll keep on drippin'. I like that they both have a leakage prevention, albeit the OmeGa only has a couple of small rings.

Grimm Green's reviews pushed me toward the OmeGa, but I don't know what switch or girth I'd prefer until I handle them, which is very unlikely to happen. I also think I'd prefer the stainless finish of the Prodigy over the more easily tarnishable OmeGa.

So basically I come to you, ECF Vets, to give me as much guidance and comparison (really just want to know what you personally like and don't about those mentioned) that I could possibly get in a short time because, so far, I'm leaning toward the REO mini, more of which, I believe, will be going on sale in just a few hours.

Halp.

Thanks Vets!

All we can do is provide you information and suggest some parameters to use in making your decision. And that was my purpose when I wrote The Wonderful World of Mods. I describe what is available by:
1. Shape
2. Size
3. Voltage
4. mAh (of the batteries used)
5. Juice-fed
6. Switch (position and feel)
7. Price range
For a moment, take a look at parameter #6: Switch. This is a factor people don't think about much. But it has a significant impact on your vaping experience. Notice that the three models you are considering have three very different switch mechanisms located in three different positions on the PV. Would you be equally comfortable with them?

And consider a feature you have not mentioned: variable voltage. This has some real advantages. To me (not to all, of course), fixed voltage mods don't make sense any more. The odds are high that you would be happiest vaping at 4.7V or 5.2V, for example, rather than 3.7, 5, or 6V. And VV enables you to tweak your voltage for each atomizer and e-liquid ... and your mood. [Most of the VV mods are mentioned in my guide. Two new ones are the $160 ProVari and $80 Infinity.]

So ... lots to consider. But that's part of the fun of vaping, isn't it?

Oh ... you wanted my personal preferences? Well, when I'm in the mood to drip, the Infinity (not even available yet, almost though).

When I don't want to drip, the Ali'i (especially the $170 VV version).

NOTE: These are just wishful fantasies.;) I don't own any of them.:(
