I have a rather basic setup at the moment due to my last tank stripping out. I have an Aspire K1 tank and i use BVC replacement coils. It's rather new probably just over a month old, i started getting this harsh/dry/burnt taste. So i just thought okay ill put in a new coil, i primed it and let it sit for awhile. It still had that awkward taste to it with a brand new coil. A taste that literally made my stomach turn to knots and made me gag by even smelling it. I have a Vision spinner 2 and keep it at the lowest volts, and use basic liquid with very low nicotine (trying to go down to none). I thought maybe i primed it wrong, so i put in a new coil to see if that was the problem. I soaked it for while before i even put it in, and let it soak while hooked up for over 45 min. Hit it softly without holding power down. And again same awful taste, i took my tank apart and cleaned everything putting a new coil in again it finally ALMOST tastes right, but it is still a little off and now its making my throat hurt. Ive never had any problems like this before, cant think of anything wrong with the damn thing. Any help/advice would be great. I tried 3 different flavor as well to see if one was messing with it, and it still has the awkward dry taste to it.

whenever you get a burnt wick/coil you should throw out the juice that is in the tank. You should also clean all tank parts fairly well. It wouldn't hurt to soak the parts in alcohol, then rinse with water and dry. ---- It is sometimes difficult to get rid of the burnt/foul taste from a tank. Sounds to me like you just got to get rid of the spurious bad burnt flavor.

Update* I was replacing the liquid after i tried new coils. I decided to go with 50/50 liquid hoping that helps but its still making my throat sore :( I think it may have been the vanilla flavor i was using it was very harsh to me. It basically seems back to normal at this point, i plan to just get a new tank.

Probably just the diacetyl in the vanilla...
