I haven't had this problem (yet) with my Subtank. Have you tried blowing out any excess juice in the tip or the well? I've only had this problem on my rdas and that's what I do. Or I try not accidentally over-saturate them in the first place

I havent tried that but im about to. Ill let you know how that works.

I have tried different way of hitting it. I also tried to blot out the excess juice with a paper towel.

Spitting happens, but moreso when you've excess juice under your drip tip. This can happen due condensation. (Happens alot on my kayfuns for example, altho they won't spit that often but once you open the drip tip, you'll see there's quite alot of juice in there.)

Can't say if the same is true for atlantis though due i'vent used v1. But a tip is to take out your drip tip and check if there's excess juice there.
Because itll drip back down and spit it up once the coil heats.

So now ive tried cleaning out the tip and under it and the air tube all the way to the coil. Tried firing for a couple secs before hitiing and blowing it out then hitting.

It was better for a couple hits after cleaning it out but after about 3 hits its still popping and spitting like mad.

Could it be that the condensation dripped back onto the wick? and now i just have to wait for it to burn off.

Im just so confused. I really appreciate the help. Thank you all

it could be that your juice is too thin (high PG) or that you do not have enough wick to seal the coil properly or that you are running to low a power setting had this problem with my protank 3 until I rebuilt the coil

Im vaping cw unicorn milk which i thought was 70/30. And my tank is the atlantis v1 and im using the extra coil that came with it. If that helps the diagnosis at all

Also at 26 watts

I don't have experience with your particular tank, but I've dealt with my fair share of spitting on others. Based on the info you gave, I'm definitely thinking you've got something mechanical going on.

If you have something to remove your juice without wasting it, drain that sucker and give the tank a good breakdown - including the coil head. Reassemble making sure your o-rings (if it uses them) aren't getting pulled from their slots. A bit beyond finger tight is good enough.

As for the coil, from what I can tell from pictures the Atlantis' head is basically a cartomizer, and should be easy to break down and reassemble. Pay close attention to what the chimney looks like (tons of moisture?) and check your wick. It should be obvious if you're flooding, it could be a crappy wick (hope it came with cotton! Rewicking time) or it could be as simple as poor factory assembly.

It's good to get to know your topper early on in any event, and if you're vaping out of the box, disassembly and a wash isn't a bad idea in the first place.

I'll ad a vid here if I can hunt one down.

[EDIT] Jeez, ceramic wick and everything? I'll leave it to you to decide if this is worth the effort, but if nothing else, the vid is incredibly detailed. I will still recommend breaking down and reassembling the tank even if you leave the atomizer head as is. Never seen this guy before but man, is it nice to not have to hit mute.
