My joyetech evic was acting strangely so I plugged it up to my pc and suddenly it froze up, then completely shut off. That was two days ago. I've been trying to find a working number for joyetech in USA but the previous Irvine California number I called a month or two ago is now going straight to fax. My evic is barely 2 months old. I've read a lot about ppl "bricking" their evic's but I have no idea what this means or how its fixed. Anyone know how to contact the warranty dept with joyetech or have any advice on what the problem could be? It wasn't a dead battery btw either, that was 40% charged when it quit working all together. Thanks for any help you all can offer! I'm so bummed without it. I have never charged through the USB for just this reason. I have (2) now Two years old, original run.
original eVic or Supreme?

This (may) help:
Remove the battery
Remove the Battery Tube
Clean the Battery side pin on the control head with Alcohol and dry
Fire up MVR and connect Head only
Verify MVR recognizes the eVic

If the head powers up and is recognized leave plugged in and attach the tube and battery.
Verify charging.
Hopefully this will work.

Bricking a device is normally from an issue during a Firmware update.
