Hey guys! I just joined the forums as of about ten minutes ago and just wanted to say hey to everyone. The name's Zack and I've been using an ecig for about 2 weeks now. I tried a couple of puffs from one when they first came out years ago and really thought it was about the most pointless thing I'd ever done... I see it's really come a long way. While I thoroughly enjoy my unfiltered Camels, I've definitely felt it was time for a change lately.
Soooo I bought a Blu starter pack the other day. Mainly because I was tired of going outside constantly while playing Battlefield 3 to smoke, and thought it was time to give it another go. It was actually pretty decent. One thing I did notice... I went through 3 cartos in one night, recharged both batteries several times, and went through the last ones that came in the pack the following day. All in all, it was enough for me to realize two things-1. as much as I've always really loved smoking- I actually prefer vaping to smoking, and 2. All of the hassle with the blu was so stressful it was like a chore to get any enjoyment out of it. 1 battery pulled fairly decent with all the cartos while the other one fit so tightly it was almost impossible to get a drag on it, and if I tried loosening the carto even a tiny bit, it was like going from one extreme to another. In any case, I'm still getting used to not taking the same type drags I'm used to taking with a cigarette.
In any case, a few days ago I got hooked on this forum, and started looking at ego kits. I slowly started trying to learn as much as I could, and then thought that was what I was going to go with. Well as of yesterday, I put my first order in at myfreedomsmokes.com. First of all, I'd like to point out they had some of the best prices I was able to find. One downside was quite a few things were out of stock, but I guess that was sort of a trade off for the prices, as well as me wanting to order from somewhere in NC. They've already shipped my order and I'm figuring it should either be here tomorrow or Wednesday... and now the waiting game checking the tracking number every 15 minutes begins lol.
As for my order, and you guys let me know if you think this is a good start, here it is:
6ml Sample of Djarum Vanilla 24mg
10ml Vanilla Cream Caramel Coffee 48mg
Joyetech eVIC Easy Control Head
Joyetech eVic Battery Tube
Joyetech eVic Changeable Atomizer
I went with all that since I figured it would give me some flexibility later on if I wanted the regular eVic head and it's compatible with pretty much any carto/atomizer I might would want in the future, plus the long battery life. Notice there's no battery listed on the order though- myfreedomsmokes was sold out of all 18650 batteries.. go figure.
So today I put in an order at myvaporstore.com for a Samsung 2600 mah battery and a 5 pack of XL Kanger 510 cartomizers. The idea of the kangers being that I can use them on my Blu if i want to, as well as test them out since they'd be compatible with any probable future mod purchase I'd make.
Anyway, glad to be here and look forward to getting to know you guys
