Tried some Japanese cotton this week. My experience is that it wicks better, easy to build with, and has almost no flavor break in time like I find with regular walmart cotton. But I am finding it needs changed more often. Any other wicking favorites? There are so many options.

I would definitely try Rayon / cellucotton. You can get it at Sally's Beauty Supply. Just make sure it's 100% Rayon fibers.
Rayon wicks phenomenally, flavor rivals Japanese cotton, hits hard. Just a great material.
That's definitely the most popular right now. After that there's silica, but you've probably already heard of that.

I like cellucotton as well, a friend gave me some japan cotton and haven't tried it out.
The cellucotton wicks good and lasts for a good amount of time between changes.
Pbusardo does a whole wick test on like 4 different types. Good review.
