A few months ago I bought a Smoking Everywhere for $100 (I know, I paid too much, but didn't want to wait until they send me one online and was the only one they sell over here). The thing is that I can't get used to it. I'm not even sure if I enjoy it or not (as I'm sure when I smoke cigarettes). I do not feel the pleasure I get with cigarettes, such as that little numbness in the chest and pretty much on my whole body with each puff, this feels very clear especially in the first cigarette of the day. Is it normal not to feel this with e-cigs or am I missing something? Maybe my e-cig doesn't produce enough smoke, or maybe my liquid is not good enough (it's one that I bought at the Janty's web, tobacco flavored, with 16 mg of nicotine). Do I just have to resign to not feel that pleasure with e-cig? So if the problem is the e-cig brand I'm using someone PLEASE let me know of a good brand, I don't care much about price and not much about the look or size, even thought I'll prefer a small one. The main thing is that it feels as close as possible as a real cigarette. Oh and one more thing: I get a headache after smoking quite a lot of my e-cig, no idea why.

A 510 is a good all-rounder and you can get a starter kit for under $50. You should definitely feel a hit from the nicotine if the e-cig is working right. As for headaches, MercyPoetic is right that dehydration is something to watch out for, and also your body will take a little time to adapt to the change from smoke to vapour.

I'd also suggest that you start out with a high strength liquid and reduce the strength as you get used to vaping.

One last thing: vaping is not identical to smoking in the way it tastes and feels. Many of us find it much more enjoyable :) Good luck!

A good e-cig and the right level of e-liquid is night/day compared to what you've gotten from Smoking Everywhere. Most find they need to start out with a high nic liquid and then work around (up or down) to find what maintains them. I started out with 11mg and 24mg. I used the 24mg to top off the cartridge when I was having a craving for a cigarette, ended up using around 18mg-24mg most of the time.

Really... try another model if you can. (the disposable 510 is getting great reviews and is a good inexpensive way to try out this popular, well working model. I love mine!).

If not, try reading about getting the best use out of the model you've got on this forum.

Hello,
When I first started vaping a few months ago, I threw my cigs out my car window and commited to only vaping my smoke51 ecig. Then I started reading posts on here and decided to give V4L a try. As soon as I took my first puff, there was NO turning back for me. I GAVE my over $400 worth of smoke51 stuff away. I had first started out wanting something that was exactly like an analog. What made it easier for me to stick with it was the HUGE variety of flavors that V4L offers. Plus they have great customer service and quick shipping and reasonable prices. I'm not trying to do a commercial for them, but my point is this. Vaping is NOT smoking, it mimics the hand to mouth motion and delivers nicotine, but it is not and will never be smoking. That being said, it is the only thing in over a decade that has allowed me to be totally smoke free. Best of luck!

In the beginning I used a higher nic level to keep cravings at bay. I started with 24 mg and worked my way down from there. That also helped keep me from constantly vaping. Now I'm using mostly 11 mg. When I'm out or vaping a lot I use a lower nicotine level and I use a higher level after meals and when I feel stress creeping in. I can tell when it is time for me to use some lower strength liquid. I'm one of those people who get the hiccups from an excess of nicotine!

It helps to have a variety of levels of liquid especially in the beginning as you figure things out.

My son and daughter-in-law both needed to have a stronger nicotine level when they first started as well. They figured they would be okay with 16 mg and quickly found that they needed 24 mg. They have only been at it a week or so. I imagine they will also decrease their levels in time. But even if they don't it is still much better than smoking cigarettes!

Good luck figuring out what works best for you!!!

;)

It sounds like you have a crap e-cig model and/or your nicotine liquid is too weak. I started with the KR8 (Vapor King) and 36mg nicotine level. Now I'm using 24mg most of the time, but I don't think I could have quit for 2.5 months (so far) using 16mg e-juice and an inferior e-cig model.

I love the Vapor King (2-piece model) and I'd highly recommend it. It works, there are ~80 different cart flavors to choose from, and V4L has excellent customer service.

The 510, which is a 3-piece model, seems to be very popular too. I haven't tried it so I can't comment, but it must be pretty good.

One thing is certain: both of the above models are light-years better than the one you have.

If you're serious about giving up smoking, you may need to buy a better model of e-cig, and move up a notch or two on the nicotine level. Most people do well at 18-24mg but since 16mg isn't working for you, I'd suggest that you try the 24-30mg juices and see if they are more effective.

Good luck!

I know what you mean, and I felt the same using my SmokingEverywheere e-cig. I have modified mine (removed wick and exclusively drip directly onto the attty) with somewhat favorable results. Buy a different model, 501, Vapor4Life or whatever ppl recommend here. With a different cig, you will get what you are looking for, I did!

Cheers,
Dude

agreed.....i tried a smoking everywhere e-cig in a mall near my house, was not at all impressed with it...didnt really feel like smoking at all...

i ordered a Vapor King (KR808D-1) from V4L and it is a night and day difference.....i went from a pack and a half of analogs a day to none within 24 hours...

smoking everywhere seems to be widely regarded as a garbage product and an overall horrible company on this forum.....having taken a few test puffs off of one from the guys selling them at my local mall i would have to agree.

I had to go to 36mg juice to "get happy" with vapeing and stop smoking. A day or two of 36mg and I was done with the analogs. I was just about to give up on vapeing until then!
Just a little side note... My Freedom Smokes has an awesome variety of flavors and they are all available in 36mg (and less, of course). Taste great too!

I'll second that recommendation for MyFreedomSmokes. Their e-juices are excellent, especially the double-flavor versions.

Id probably suggest buying a prodigy v2 5v from altsmoke and use the 510 atts with 24-36mg juice of your choice and I think you'd see the world in a whole new light...
He is starting to ship these monday..
Good luck.

Or try a 5v GLV from greatlakesvapor.. He can ship immediately the silver units at 5v.

If you have the right PV and juice you wont have a hard time quitting..

Go to 5v or 6v for the pleasure of a lifetime :)
