Can't put down the analog cigarettes :( What else is in them?!?

Hi all,

I got my first e-cigarette about 2 months ago and rapidly bought a few more, I really like them. My favorite model is by far, the DSE-901b. My friends call them my "geek" cigarettes :)

But I was hoping by now that I would have gradually weaned myself off the analog cigs, and that has not happened. I've even made a concious effort a few times "Ok after this pack is gone, I'm done!" and I end up going out to buy another pack...

Something in my body is craving something in those analogs that isn't in the ecigs. I know that analogs have something like 4000 ingredients/chemicals and of course, ecigs do not. So there must be something other than just the nicotine that I am hooked on or craving. I'm INSANELY curious to know what it is... does anyone know???

I will have to do a full-out quit, making full effort and willpower, in order to lay down the analogs for good.

And I know that the ecig is NOT officially a stop smoking device, I assure you I am aware. But I want to change my nicotine delivery system :)

Thanks! Jenny

takes a concious effort to want to quit. just vape when you have the urge. think about how nice it is to breathe again
This urge will pass

Just vape your brains out non stop--that is what I did. Get some non-nic e-liquid and switch between the nic and non-nic so you do not get too much and vape the desire right out of you. Then go take a hit off an analog and you will taste how nasty they are and never want another one--everyone is different, so do what you thing works for you and Good Luck--Happy Vaping:)

Yep there's GOT to be something else besides nicotine that's got a hook in us. I've smoked 2+ packs a day for 40 years, tried EVERY quit smoking program & still couldn't quit. I've only been vaping 2 weeks. The first week was a breeze, didn't even want tobacco. This 2nd week though, that old craving crept back in, especially in the morning. So I took a step back and lit one up but promised ..no more, today. That satisfied me for the day, even the next day too. But the third day I did it again, ONE...then no more for the day. So now I just face it, if I can get by with only one a day...two at the most...that's a BIG improvement over smoking 50 a day.
