I posted a thread for "Can't sleep, any thoughts?".
What everyone who replied assumed was that I couldn't get to sleep. That's not the case at all. The actual situation is that I fall right to sleep when I got to bed. No problems there.
The actual problem is that I'm only able to stay asleep for 4 to 6 hours a night.
This is a huge difference from my normal sleep patterns, where are typically 8 to 10 hours a night.
So, I was wondering if anyone else had the same experience.

I just reread Part I. Several things could be at play here. It might be that you have detoxed enough and are simply having more energy, less need to sleep. It could be stress and worry. It could also be something deeper and would required medical attention. Nic in the throat can aggravate sleep apnea and snoring by relaxing the throat muscles. Apnea can not only mess up the sleep you are getting, but cause anxiety and waking up after not enough sleep. I myself have this issue. If it does not subside, I would see a sleep specialist. Not saying you have this, but even if its just a little, nic can make it much worse. Before bed, if I vape at all, its at about 4 mg.

Did you reduce your nicotine (alcohol, caffeine) intake before bedtime?

If you did, and the usual "turn off your TV and computer, take a walk, drink a glass of milk" remedies don't work, you should consult your physician. Sleep disturbances are very common but can be symptomatic of some underlying illness. And chronic sleep deprivation can have serious consequences.

Good luck.
