Can't unlock mod!!!

I purchased a kamry k100 from 101vape. Com and the spinning washer at the end, to lock or unlock the mod, WILL NOT FREAKING BUDGE. It is stuck in on position as if it's press fit. I've mangled the base with scratches from my channel locks, taking a good chunk of skin off my finger trying to loosen it. I requested another base, but in the event they don't sell or carry, I'm sure I'm screwed from scuffing the stainless.

Any suggestions on how to loosen the Damn spinning washer? Or where I can just buy a new connector piece?

This may be a dumb question but....

Most mods use reverse threading on their button locks, you sure you're trying to turn it in the correct direction? (lefty tighty, righty loosey?)

it is reverse threaded. pop it in the freezer and turn it the right direction when it comes out. if that doesn't loosen it warm the still cold mod button in hot water. this should do the trick

Yup I'd try and run hot hot water over the ring, that might do the trick and loosen it up.

Wow, that looks like hell! Why's the buttons shaft all bent? Was it dropped?

In any event, looks like you need a whole new button assembly which is probably normally threaded into the tube. I'd try getting the whole button assembly out without damaging the tube and maybe working on it from there...

I'll do the water thing thanks all. It won't damage it getting water on the connector spring? And I believe it's bent because I had it depressed slightly in my hands during taking the photos.

Run it under HOT water or let it soak in it for a while... heat EXPANDS.

If you take pliers to it again try putting a rag around the ring first so it doesn't scar (any more)...

If you need to grip, try dishwashing gloves - maybe under the channel locks, if it still won't open by hand with them

I can't get the Damn thing to budge at all. Short of soaking it in wd40 I have no clue. I wrote 101vape requesting a replacement connector and included pictures of damaged finger and stainless lol. Hopefully they either ship me a new one, or refund me so I can get another. Hoping they have good customer service

Have you ever heard of Mouses Milk? We used it in the navy. Talk about threads getting STUCK.
You could also use a product called Blaster. Not keen on throwing electronic devices in water..

I just emailed their CS department. Anybody deal with 101vape in the past? I figure it came non working so it's only fair. I just hope they can understand and forgive the damage.
