Can't unlock mod!!!

I can't get the Damn thing to budge at all. Short of soaking it in wd40 I have no clue. I wrote 101vape requesting a replacement connector and included pictures of damaged finger and stainless lol. Hopefully they either ship me a new one, or refund me so I can get another. Hoping they have good customer service

I just got mine. If you have some rubber gloves put them on & turn it to the left.
Now the reason I'm suggesting rubber gloves is because I've had this happen on other devices and the only thing tools did was destroy it.
I put on rubber gloves as a last resort and whatever I was trying to take apart or unscrew came off effortlessly. Had me thinking.....how the hell?
I now keep them as part of my vape kit.
Also mine came from 101.

Same here. I have a couple of pieces of gear that are near-impossible to open with bare hands, like the Dripper Pro.
If it's anything like my Caravela mech tube mod ... if you get a pair of needle-nose pliers and unscrew the center pin slightly out of the base, then the reverse-threaded lock ring will unscrew easily.
Don't pay any attention to the red arrows on this photo ... I posted the photo so you can see the brass center pin than needs to be unscrewed .. it will free up the locking ring that's frozen tight.

Oh don't get me started on the dripper pro. Once this happened and after having destroyed a Nemesis (clone) trying to get my RDA off I didn't want to take pliers to the Dripper Pro (not a clone). Rubber gloves are a life saver.
^ This .. Just received a Pisces mod last week and my locking ring was also stuck, and this is how I resolved it. Freezer first, then into a cup of hot water, bam, it was freed ... without destroying the finish on my locking ring.
OP, sorry that you ran into this issue, but dear God in heaven what did you do to that poor locking ring? .. I understand the frustration made you do it, but that is exactly why I opted to not take pliers to my locking ring .. it never goes well.

I realized I have some wide rubber bands (from produce) in the junk drawer - those seem to work pretty well and are small enough to fit in the rebuild kit.
Well, no luck. 101vape sent me a replacement cap. Truly great guys, though they were a bit dumbstruck to me wrangling my mod with channel locks. I'll be freezing it and throwing it in hot water as soon as my piece arrives. I'll let everybody know how well it worked, cause nothing else has.

its going to be impossible to un-lock this mod! mainly because it IS unlocked in the photo you provided!
UNLOCKED = BUTTON CAN BE PUSHED
locked would be that ring extended to prevent the button from moving(no button stem would show)
if it wasn't vaping it had nothing to do with being locked
OK, well thanks for pointing out a minor discrepancy that doesn't solve the underlying issue.
