Yo Red, I feel you man, and I'm glad you vented to us. you need to vent and we're here for you to vent to. it's good to get it out and speak your mind and verbally confront what you're experiencing. I've had days like that where everything seems to go wrong. With regards to that guy it makes me mad that anyone in this day and age would speak like that of a woman. People like that don't even deserve their jobs...I hate to sound judgmental myself, but, yeah, I'm judgmental of people who are like that...dangit Red now I'm angry LOL

Irritations are amplified while withdrawing, and irritations in general cause a smoker or recovering smoker to want to smoke. To me smoking a cig was always a way of stepping back, clearing my head, and enabling me to move forward with whatever stupid situation had presented itself. Flat tire, dumb people, what have you. I think this again is a good time to remind you that every single time you make it through an irritable moment without smoking, you are re-hardwiring your brain to deal with frustrations and such in a different way. As you vape, it may not totally satisfy you in this moment, but will so more in the next, and the next, and the next - you feel me? Your goal right now is to rehardwire your brain to accept vaping as a substitute for smoking psychologically. In terms of the physical component - today or tomorrow is pretty much your last day of physical withdrawal, perhaps a couple more, but not really. So as that gets out of your system, all that's left is the psychological. And it's important and could take a while to truly get over psychological withdrawal...but, again, the more situations like these you endure without resorting to a cig, the faster you move along in that regard. at least that's my 2cents.

You're doing fantastic, I'm sorry you had such a bad day, but i hope it's getting better and that tomorrow is nothing reminiscent of this garbage :)

THIS!!!!! Well said Sloth!!

So very well said! You CAN do this, Red! Every time you think about a cigarette say this to yourself:

NO
I do NOT need a cigarette because I
Do
Not
Smoke
Any
More!

Then vape, vape, vape and be so very proud of yourself.

And the hits just keep coming. I will keep this short and nondescript, but I just found out that the insurance on my house may be cancelled due to the seller not getting proper permits and documentation on remodel and repairs they had done. This stuff was not disclosed, but it is now my problem as I can't get insurance and may loose my house. I swear I can not catch a break. I dealt with this all day yesterday and managed to not smoke. I think I may have set a record for most juice through a REO in a day though. Lets just say I killed 5 batteries and 6 bottles of juice. I have decided to add my banner, I figure if I can make it through yesterday, I should be able to make it through this, of course you never know and if I fail I will take down my banner. I can say this much, at this point I am not looking forward to what the next day holds.

We have found proof that they knowingly did not obtain this stuff since they were planning on selling the house and just cut their costs, nor did they disclose it, but it is now my problem as I can't get insurance and may loose my house. Damn, that sucks man. Owning a home can be so stressful. I dropped a couple grand this year already on unforeseen problems. Sounds like youre dealing with it well though. If you made through that, you can make it through anything. Just keep vaping! And vaping! And vaping!

The realtors and lawyers are supposed to check for permits being there in the first place before you're sold the house, if I'm not mistaken.

It's at least a good sign that through all of this crap, you've managed to stay off the cigs.

Lets just say that we have found out there is a lot about this house that was not disclosed by the seller.
And I just found out today that there is a busted drain line under the foundation, even more fun for me to deal with.
Still vaping away, although I would be lying if I said it has been easy.

LMAO, thanks for the laugh. At this point that is what I am doing anytime something else comes up, I just laugh. I mean what else am I going to do, some of this just doesn't seem real. I do pinch myself every once in a while to make sure I'm not dreaming, but alas it is. I am determined to make it through, at some point it has to give and things will have to start getting better, so I am just waiting out that time. I just have to remind myself of all the good in my life. I am finally living in the area I want, (not sure about the house though :p), I have a wonderful wife, and a great family, oh and I don't smoke anymore!

Yes, laughing is good. As I see it any of us have two choices when the pewp hits the fan: laugh or cry. Personally I prefer laughing! And all the good will come around, I know it as you have climbed a mighty mountain this past week and made it even with the whole world trying your determination. That right there says a lot about you my friend. You got this! The rest of the pieces will fall into place, I have faith in the pendulum swinging back in your favor soon! :thumb:
