Yo Red, I feel you man, and I'm glad you vented to us. you need to vent and we're here for you to vent to. it's good to get it out and speak your mind and verbally confront what you're experiencing. I've had days like that where everything seems to go wrong. With regards to that guy it makes me mad that anyone in this day and age would speak like that of a woman. People like that don't even deserve their jobs...I hate to sound judgmental myself, but, yeah, I'm judgmental of people who are like that...dangit Red now I'm angry LOL
Irritations are amplified while withdrawing, and irritations in general cause a smoker or recovering smoker to want to smoke. To me smoking a cig was always a way of stepping back, clearing my head, and enabling me to move forward with whatever stupid situation had presented itself. Flat tire, dumb people, what have you. I think this again is a good time to remind you that every single time you make it through an irritable moment without smoking, you are re-hardwiring your brain to deal with frustrations and such in a different way. As you vape, it may not totally satisfy you in this moment, but will so more in the next, and the next, and the next - you feel me? Your goal right now is to rehardwire your brain to accept vaping as a substitute for smoking psychologically. In terms of the physical component - today or tomorrow is pretty much your last day of physical withdrawal, perhaps a couple more, but not really. So as that gets out of your system, all that's left is the psychological. And it's important and could take a while to truly get over psychological withdrawal...but, again, the more situations like these you endure without resorting to a cig, the faster you move along in that regard. at least that's my 2cents.
You're doing fantastic, I'm sorry you had such a bad day, but i hope it's getting better and that tomorrow is nothing reminiscent of this garbage![]()
THIS!!!!! Well said Sloth!!
