OK
Got some capella flavors in, mixed a couple recipes. either my taste buds are trashed or I don't quite have what all I need. I have varied from 30% to 50% VG and for a 8 ml bottle used right at 33% favoring. flavor not too bad on mounds mix but it is not sweet enough. I have really gotten addicted to the sweet flavors. Does anyone have any tips for sweetning the mix. I am thinking to get some marshmallow and cotton candy and use them for sweetning up my mixes. I also read on here somewhere that ecopure uses ethyl maltol a flavor enhancer, any one tried this stuff. Has anyone mixed capella with loranns. Any help will be appreciated, thanks

IMIUBU (BTW, cool name) - I like a sweeter vape too. Have you tried the Hazelnut? I mix it at 15-20% with VG (no PG) and it really comes thru. I like the taste of some of the others but would prefer a little sweetness added to them (graham cracker is one of those). I just placed an order for pralines & cream, toasted almond, caramel, french toast and two more bottles of hazelnut. I'm hoping to be able to use some of these to sweeten up some of the other flavors. I'm really looking forward to the french toast cause here's what moonflame said about it:
"Very strong maple syrup taste. I think I'm going to dedicate one atty to it though because it did stay in my atty until I used something else really strong."
So you may want to give it a spin around the dancefloor, if you're look for sweet and strong.

OMG!!! The last 4 flavors I ordered are all winners. I love the hazelnut so much that I thought everything else would be 'whatever', but nooooo. I still love hazelnut, but I love the 'new guys' as well.

Pralines & Cream - you've gotta get some of this if you haven't already. Actually, to me it tastes more like butter pecan, but it's still great. It smells like it's going to be overly sweet, but it's not. Has caramel coloring.

French Toast - agree with moon's assessment of it. Very tasty, but weird, cause it really does taste EXACTLY like french toast. Doesn't list caramel coloring, but does say it has natural flavoring (no artificial listed)...what???....did they they soak a piece of french toast in PG to get this?

Caramel - has caramel coloring (duh). I was a little apprehensive, cause it smelled a little 'artificial' and like it would be overly sweet, but it's a nice balanced caramel flavor.

Toasted Almond - wow! Not only does it taste great, it's clear! And (typical of Caprella) it tastes just like what it's named.

I made up 3ml 0 nic bottles of each of these. I drip, so I'm just rotating thru them them right now. I'm glad I did 0 nic, cause I'm definitely chain vaping these bad boys. I'm rotating them on a single atty. The transitions are as good as the individual flavors. They're wonderful by themselves, but I would consider all of them to be good additions to other flavors. I don't do tobacco flavors, but I bet that any of them would be great in a tobacco base, for those of you who do.

BTW buttercrunch, I'm going to have to get out my graham cracker, and try it with the pralines and cream. It's gotta be great!

I loving the Toasted Almond. That stuff is delicious.

I am absolutely not loving the Orange Creamsicle, and I am bummed about this. I made a milliliter of juice, with 20% Creamsicle. It wasn't strong enough. I added drops until I could taste it. At 50/50 Creamsicle and Nic-juice I could finally taste it, barely.

Since they make this for flavoring drinks and such, not vaping, I wondered about mixing it in with a drink of some sort. I poured 2 ounces of milk into a glass. Reading the bottle, it says "3-5 drops for 8 ounces of liquid" so I tried 3 drops. Eventually I got to 10 drops mixed in with the remains of the milk, maybe 1 ounce or a little more, and I could taste it.

I had high hopes for Orange Creamsicle, but I'd have to vape it straight - and that would be too bitter.

Same here. When I finally got it to where I could taste it, it tasted more like Baby Aspirin orange.

Thanks for the tip about Toasted Almond, it's going on my list.

Re previous post: Finally did try the K'luah & Cream and whoa... it's glorious! It's soooo dark though, even mixing it 20% barely lightened it up.

Has anyone tried mixing the raspberry and a chocolate? I bought the double chocolate and put 6 drops in with my raspberry (from Bickford's) mix which is in a 3.75 ml bottle and it totally overwhelmed the raspberry flavor. I really wanted the choc/rasp but I like the raspberry alone also. So if anyone has tried mixing them together, how did that work out for you? I am trying to avoid buying the chocolate/rasp if I can mix it. LOL

I can barely wait to try K'lua & cream & toasted almond. I think I also ordered french toast??? I can't remember. my first order took a while, over a week. one of their newer flavors (choc fudge brownie) was backordered, so they sent it along a few weeks later. Speedy? no, but quick replies to e-mails and very friendly. they let me know how much longer it would be, then another to let me know it was on the way.

btw, your taste buds may vary, but the double choc is actually pretty good, reminds me of milk choc .. or maybe choc milk ? but this choc fudge brownie is the best choc I've found so far, it actually tastes real (as opposed to artificial). It reminds me of cocoa powder/bittersweet dark choc. it doesn't fade out like weakling choc flavors.. not perfect but so far it's the truest chocolate I've come across. promising, but haven't worked with it much yet,,, still working on ratios. It's really potent, a few drops go a long way.

I was wondering about those 2 chocolate flavor's. Added to the list to buy..
I can see before it's over I'm going to have them all lol

I wonder how often they come out with new flavor's?
I want a really good cola or better yet cherry coke flavor.

I ordered one of each of the flavor drops from Capella's.

10% off with purchases over $24.00 with code "spend24"
15% off with purchases over $50.00 with code "spend50"
25% off with purchases over $70.00 with code "spend70"

Heard some bad things about their shipping and processing in this thread, so I sent a message to Randee at Capella's before ordering and he promised me if I ordered in that day it would be shipped the next day. He was right, it shipped out the next morning :D

If you're worried about shipping/processing times, Just send a preorder message and then send your invoice number after ordering to whomever you spoke to previously. That way you get someone watching your order :D

Can't wait to get my Capella flavors. I purchased about 20 Lorann's (safe) flavorings and I liked maybe 2 of them (bubblegum and keoke). I couldn't get past the chemical taste I got from the other flavors. Hopefully I will still be able to get some use from the Lorann bottles through mixing with Capella flavors.

Got my order, and tried my first flavor. 3 day processing and delivery. Very Nice.

Using a 510 Atty - Fluval stuffed carts and a 3.7 volt battery mod.

Graham Cracker:

2.5ml 48mg Flavorless PG nic Liquid (Nhaler)
1.3ml Capella's Graham Cracker Flavoring
1.2ml Wilton's Glycerin

Started with 1.0ml (20%) and added more till I was satisfied (26%)

I love the flavor. No chemical taste at all and tastes quite a bit like graham crackers. A little sweet, and very smooth.

I guess I'll review them as I try them.

Tried Banana and Cola

I used the same mixing ratios as I did with the graham cracker.

Banana:
It tastes like banana. Not really my thing, but I intended to try my hands at mixing a banana split when I purchased it. Should turn out well. If u like vaping banana, this will serve you well.

Cola:
Tastes just like cola. Very tasty. I have a feeling I'll be vaping a lot of this flavor. I'll try a little cherry in the next mix.

So far the Capella flavors are outstanding, I couldn't be more pleased.
