I don't like capella's! Since I got my order I have not had to toss ANYTHING and this just is not right. I now have lots of idea's of new and fun mixes and now I need more Flavor Concentrate so that means more pg/vg nic orders too! Pestering the post man, checking tracking numbers, Keeping more notes and then finding my new favorite just to find another n e w favorite...it never ends - Does it? NO NEVER! Can someone just please turn time around so I can just go back to mixing tobacco's that may turn out with perfume and chemical scents so I don't half to say "oh well I'll just break out the snickerdoodle for a bit" This is too easy and I don't want to clean up my language and the trash guy needs a job too for heaven sake...say the Carmel, Vanilla custard, Toasted Almond make a nice mix <------You see? There I go again!!!

Do we need to post a disclaimer stating that Cap can be addicting to DIY? Once you start you want all the flavors.

I also posted this on the Capella DIY thread.
Blueberry Cinnamon Crumble problem. I just can't get enough of any flavor & seems it hollow. I used BCC at 15% in 80/20 with 3% EM & 2% lemon juice (I use LJ when I'm baking blueberry anything in the kitchen.) I thought this would be a good standalone flavor. Did I counteract the sweetness/flavor with the lemon juice? It's been steeping since Saturday. Figured that 5 days would be enough.
So HELP!!! Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would use it more as a base then try to get full flavor out of it by itself . Add a blueberry flavor to it and some cinnamon coffee cake,Maybe some vanilla cupcake too.Thats how i get full flavor juices . I do that with everything. If i using say a cheesecake flavor im still gonna use something else creamy with it to make it stand out.

That was kind of my thinking too. The BCC seems hollow by itself. I want the cinnamon/crumbly flavor & cake-ness that I get when I'm making a real blueberry crumble cake. I think that I have CCC & VCupcake on their way to me.

What do you think about blueberry french toast? I love to eat that. As you can tell, I love fruity, bakery items. :D

Let it steep at 7% -10% for a couple of days and the rest will come through....I promise ;)
Gosh, I hope so. I love blueberry cinnamon crumble. But I did "lose" the flavor at 10% in a 20 drop PG test last night. I did the drop test to get a handle on what went so seriously wrong with a flavor I should love.

Call me impressed. I ordered this Feb. 28th, and here it is March 1st.

Think this is the fastest delivery I've ever had.

Thanks Seabrook and Str8!

Want to assure you that I am having a blast. I've experimented with all 8 of the flavors I have (each alone), have found my sweet spot for each, and have just begun to mix. Have also experimented with adding lemon juice. I've been a busy girl! I spent many years as a research chemist, so I'm very used to this kind of process. It's fun to set up a lab again.

My intent was to get most of the extras I will need down the line now - hate waiting for the mailman!

So, gonna order EM, koolada and tart and sour for now, and look at the stuff Str8 mentioned.

P.S. Already have sweetener and everclear.

Also, now I see the ingredients in Tart and Sour, I can see that it is very different from plain old lemon juice or vinegar.

Tart and Sour also contains sodium citrate, so it has a buffering effect. At a couple of different pH's, in fact, which explains the different results of adding a little versus adding a lot.

If you don't remember any chemistry, this probably isn't making much sense, but trust me!

LOL I agree icebob, it's a complex flavor and I can taste every part of the pie. I did the same thing, made a test batch then made 30mLs it was so good.

At first the banana wasn't one of my favorite Capella flavors but at a low % and giving it some rest time it has turned out to be addictive! I mixed some with French Vanilla, Vanilla Custard and Graham Cracker and I'm luvin' it!

It was so good without sitting that I ended up vaping it before it had time to meld. LOL I can't imagine it getting better!! I love that the lemon is sweet and there's no acid taste, just creamy goodness.

Oh, you mean the banana? Yes, it does get better after sitting a bit. If you use too much it has an odd candy taste that I don't like, but a lower % comes through as a nice ripe banana.

Sorry Morgan, I don't have %s on the Banana mix yet, still working on it.

Understood.

I've seen earlier posts - perhaps from you? - talking about mixing French Vanilla, Vanilla Custard and other stuff. That base sounds so good.

I'm gonna bug you if you don't get back to me!

Need an advice Gooddog, since the LMP is so frikkin good at 15%, if I mix it with some cheesecake, would you lower the LMP % and add to match 15% or keep the initial 15% and up from there? (does that make sense?)

I almost always lower the standalone percentage if I'm planning on mixing it with something.
