EHpro's current Vela clones are 23mm ... in fact all of EHpro's current mech clones are 23mm, like their Turtleship clone. Which I like because they match up with 23mm rba's, like the Taifun GT.
Clone manufacturers are making 21, 22, and 23mm mechs to match the varying RBA diameters. The Aqua, Bliss, Steam Turnbine are 21mm. The Taifun GT, Fogger V3, Hercules, and Ithaka RBA's are 23mm.
Ok ... well, I had the idea that the standard mechanical mods were all 22mm in outside diameter.

Heres the deal ... Are there some of these Caravela mechanical mod clones that overall just look nicer than others? ... maybe a nicer looking "ship logo" etched on the side of the tube?
Or, in the case of the silver toned stainless ones with a brass / gold finished fire button, maybe one that has a nicer brass-tone fire button that the brass colored finish holds up longer than another?

Sure .. as it is with all clones and varying manufacturers. I have the EHpro Caravela 18350 and the ship engravings and serial# are perfect, but the C logo on the bottom fire button is not perfectly done. Some of the Caravela sets that FT sells are inconsistent in color, and depth with regard to the ship logo on the body.
The best thing to do is select which Caravela you like best and then refer to the customer reviews for that particular one. This way you can find out from actual owners how good, or not the clone is. The 3 tube mixed set from Fasttech received good reviews from customers.... so go over there and take read.

I ordered the FT 21 mm vela 2-18-14. Restocking at the moment. Not the only vela I ordered; some actually shipped. 21 mm is the next best thing to 14500 mod without sacrificing awesome batt power. Been spending some quality time w/ 18500 21 mm origin lately. I need to take some shots for your thread.

The reason I didn't order that one is it isn't polished plus I already have a gold switch version. Did you read the FT comments like Nikkita6 said?
Sure, I read the reviews. They seem all pretty much great ... I guess I will just wait till this clone is available and shipped to me.

Two ways to tell if a FT item is a good one ... 1) # of reviews (101 in this case) if something sucks, it will have 20 reviews or less and then die. 2) Its temporarily sold out.
FT, like other vendors sell out on the items that have been reviewed well, and then demand for the product increases because everyone wants the good one,and the item sells out. The downside to this is that, depending on the level of demand, sometimes production of new batches get rushed, and QC stuff happens ... so, hopefully this will not be the case for you. I wouldn't cancel, I would just wait it out, and possibly buy another mod that is in stock while you wait.
The Nemesis looks really good with a Kayfun. ;-)

That would be me. I bought an HCigar one instead for twice the price. I doubt it's any better than the $18 one.
My 101vape hcigar nemesis is better than my 2 FT nemesis. I'll see how that $18 FT nemesis stacks up when it finds my mail box.
The one I got needed a lot of work on the button, the engraving is faint and the top threads on the main tube catch for the first few threads. Other than that it's nice.. I just don't think it's worth twice the price.
I payed $30 for my FT nemy. Maybe price dropped because 101vape started selling hcigar for $30. Both of my SS nemy clones started out crunchy. Difference is 101 had tight switch and is now perfect but FT served crunchy w/ a side of wobble. Can't fix wobble.
I paid $36, then had the pleasant surprise of tax (I never expect that for online purchases) so it ended up being $40 shipped. The one from FT that I was going to get after I cancelled the $26 one was the $18 one, but then I cancelled that one as well. They just can't get things straight over there. Still blaming it on CNY, which I think it's safe to say at this point is BS. They were having problems with inventory before the holidays.
