Just to add to the list, I made a purchase at a few months ago Alien Vapor | e Liquids up to 36 mg | e Cigs before my card was hijacked. AVE was closed and I Googled to see if there was another vendor selling Bobas Bounty. I placed an order and found out it wasn't the real stuff. I emailed Alien Vapor | e Liquids up to 36 mg | e Cigs and asked that my order be canceled. They immediately canceled the order and credited my card.

Not saying there was anything going on with these guys. I'm just adding to the list to see if anyone matches that site in prior purchases. I did think it was strange that they offered Boba's in any mix you wanted from 100%pg to 100% vg. reviews later indicated that it wasn't anything like the real Boba's.

Im thinking about just getting a refillable debit card from walmart and just keeping the amount I want to spend online on it.

Try to find one that doesn't charge $4.95 a month for the privilege of owning it. Most do. I had a few bucks on a Visa reloadable debit card from Suntrust that were eaten up by service charges over time. Look at the terms and conditions before buying one.

Looks like the Walmart card has some fees for reload in a Walmart store ($3), ATM and teller use ($2), and balance inquiries ($1). If you direct deposit money there's no fee.

One word...Stuxnet.

Quote taken from the wiki "the first to include a programmable logic controller (PLC) rootkit". Ok, I'll give you one, and that one, wasn't even created with fraud in mind. Other than that, the risk is null. I'm sure that was no less than a million of our tax dollars to create that. I'm glad to see our tax dollars being spent wisely.... and pave the way for more.

madvapes sent me an email saying their system was compromised and that some info was stolen. They immediately canceled all orders placed within the time frame, informed us to watch the cards we used, and took steps to prevent further fraud. Pretty good response from them. I suspect most vendors don't even find out about it.

BTW I had to replace 3 credit cards within a week period last month. But with fraud monitoring, the banks caught it before I could.

This really sucks, because it happens a LOT.....but I'd rather replace 3 cards a week than go through a money recovery deal at the bank again...they NEVER seem to make it right...last time this happened to me, my numbers got stolen by an employee at a party store, and my play money account went from like 1700 to -450 overnight.....after they locked my account down for 6 weeks i wound up with 68 buck in there....yay....makes you wanna drive your truck through the front door doesnt it?? Either way...I commend mad vapes for doing this...they dont know you and probably never will..yet their looking out for you and your local bank where you know everyone's name locks your account down and says oh well...phew i feel better! lol

I filled out the google doc form the other day. Is there a list compiled any where we can look at?

There's a list, but it's only available to a select amount of people: myself, the suppliers admin of ECF, and the owner of ECF. Those are the only people that have access to the list. This is to protect vendors because with the popularity of ECF, a list like that could destroy a vendor's business, so we will not be releasing the list. If/when we come to a conclusion as to the credit card processor, it will be posted.

I understand. I made 5 purchases from 4 different vendors when this happened. I wanted to make some more purchases but and wanted to know who I should avoid. I'll just get a prepaid gift card for know. Thanks for taking the time to compile the list and investigate. I'll look forward to your conclusion.

I have a pretty good idea which vendor was the problem, or rather which vendors processor, from a few threads about their server being hacked, so I will avoid them for now.

Hi,

I just called my bank to learn that my debit card was recently blocked due to some fraudulent activity.

After some purchases from the Apple App Store and two reputable vaping vendors, there were three declined charges on my card:

Walmart.com - $600
Crystal Hotel - 2x $3.49

I'll name the vendors if I can get some hard evidence pointing to them, but at this time I do not want to make any accusations.

I too have been victimized on July 17th only mine went through. Got my SSI account for over $500.00 2 at Walmart and 1 at Wolverine.com Would you please pm me the names of any vendors that have been named before as problematic. Thanks much.

Cheryl

the second time my number was hacked, they also attempted a large buy from Walmart.

Walmart must be a favorite, 2 of the fraudulent charges on my card was to them as well. What I'd like to know is how they get the stuff??
If they have it shipped then that's a give away to get caught and to pick up at the store you have to have ID.
