My gosh, I missed that one, mwahle1, good for you! Totally amazing, and it's a point that should be made: nicotine may 'constrict' your vessels, I give it that, but
vaping also over a little time does heal the lungs, better oxygenation, so better overall circulation in progress seems like a winner!!
I've also cut down my nicotine, from 24mg to 12mg, I think I'll leave it there for awhile. I do
vape less as well, 10ml of
juice lasts me a week unless I sit at the compluter too much! But I do wonder now if it
is all about the nicotine, I had no withdrawal at all the times I cut down. 24 to 18 to 12, no obvious withdrawal ~ none. But I do still love the vapor. Is it possible that nicotine has been the brunt of an ignorant anti-smoking movement? Yes, it can be toxic, even poison if overdone, constricts vascular system. Addictive?? or is what it is mixed with the addiction??? Not about to try it with dog poo, but it makes me wonder.
It's also been subject of some treatments for ADD (mine!) ADHD, bi-polar disorder, Parkinsons, Schitzophrenia, other dementias, etc., etc.
My daughter was diagnosed with ADD also, and two of her kids, one with ADHD. They opted off the meds and went for behavioral conditioning, but her Doc recommended the new nicotine therapy for them. She said no, but I was open to it...it certainly helps me with memory, organizing, and evening out moods, so I think I'll keep my 12mg for Auld Lang's Syne!
