My mancave
The only difference in content between primary and secondary cigarette smoke is the filter, if one is present. The smoker primarily inhales smoke from the burning cigarette through the filter, while secondary smoke rises into the room unfiltered directly off the end of the cigarette.

So if secondary unfiltered smoke doesn't cause cancer, how can primary filtered smoke possibly cause it? Concentration? OK, how can anyone possibly know the concentration level of the secondhand smoke my friend inhaled while standing next to me in November of 1987 in that pub on Northridge Ave?

Because that's a study whose data gathering methods I'd LOVE to see. ;)

Hey All,

So I'm a 47 years old who quit smoking cold turkey (After 35 years) and started vaping 7 weeks ago. I had a heart
attack 2 years ago and now have two stents. Of course my Cardiologist has wanted me to quit smoking since my episode and I did cut back, but I didn't quit until recently. So, what is my Doc going to say when I go see him this week for my four month follow up appointment? Will he be glad I quit analogs, but still be upset because I'm vaping now? Would like to hear from others who have heart disease and your experience since starting to vape. Honestly I feel great!:w00t::w00t:
I have a similar issue. I am 48 have had 2 heart attacks last one may 4th 2013 had 2 stents put in was told 3 other major arteries are 80% blocked will require open hear surgery, but should clear somewhat provided I eat rite take my meds and Quit smoking. Well the hard head I am I just quit smoking 3 weeks ago. My cardiologist told me to use the e-cig to help me quit from day 1 he is 100% for it. I have my 1 year review coming up in May I cant wait to tell him I'm finally done with smoking.
I see your a fellow Marylander TUTU I'm in Dundalk.
