ok, so have been vaping about 6 weeks now, and ordered an assortment of different cartomizers for my ego. Standard: good; ce2v4: haven't tried yet as my pack lacked the fill needle; Bogue 2.0lr: love these.....the extra warmth of the vapor is incredible. I really like this but how much more equipment maintenance/replacement am I getting myself into?
so a few recommendations would be nice: how to best care for my new cartos to maximize their life? Refilling is incredibly convenient, just pop the cap and refill; but how long should I expect each one to last? Since the filler material is immediately visible, has anyone tried replacing it with PTB? or is the vertical element too hot to use this filler material?
I have read that lr cartos on the EGO reduce battery life..... so what does this mean? I know it uses more power so I will recharge more often but how long will a battery last vs using regular resistance attys/cartos in terms of service life/recharges? Will I be killing a batt every few weeks instead of a few months? I guess as long as I don't take too long of a drag (overheating the switch) they should be OK without hurting the service life of the battery? I ordered extra batts just in case..........lol.
