Carrying a syringe and needle.

Lol...So I was hesitant in the beginning of walking around with one of these guys. I figured your average officer would realize that an 18 gauge needle was a bit too enormous to be sticking into your arms and if I showed him the kit they'd understand but I figured these idiots out here in the woods wouldn't...My concerned paid off..Except they didn't...First I get pulled over for a routine stop in MA and the dude loved it. He just wanted to know more and more abut e-cigs, so I showed him, even gave him an unopened plastic drip tip and try it out. Needless to say I was pulled over for nearly 15 minutes and didn't get a ticket. However the idiots in NH were a little different. They pulled my buddy matt over and he had a prescription of painkillers on him which were legit but the pill bottle label was a little beaten up and after a big song and dance they let him go but they had searched the car and found my box and decided I was a junkie and wouldn't listen to me no matter what I told them... Finally they broke the needle and hucked the syringe in the river (real professional right) and told me to get lost.. I hate these idiots always have they've been giving me hell for about 3 years cause I picked the wrong kid to start a fight with (One of our local heros nephews e.e), and there always harrassing the hell out of me. I was curious if it's legal to carry one of these on me or not. I try not to, but it's nice to ahve when I'm gone all day you know, so I was just wondering. Obviously I only have the syrine and liquid nothing else shady going on in my life. Any insight? Living in NH&MA in case I didn't already mention it

I doubt it's illegal unless you're carrying some illegal substance to use with it but that could vary state to state. You'd probably need to check on the state level to be sure. There are people that NEED to carry them such as a Diabetic so I don't see how it could be illegal but I could be wrong.

Just fill up some extra cartos if your going to be out for an extended period of time, much easier to screw on a pre-filled carto than having to stop what your doing and get your equipment out for a refill.

Bad cop! No Doughnut!

Seriously, I wish that all cops could see how stupid actions like this seriously diminish their ability to enforce the REAL laws. Problem is, a lot of them don't know the law. Best bet is to "tell it to the Judge", it's the only way they get any *effective* feedback on the disadvantages of harassment. It's just too bad that you have to get arrested first.

It use to be illegal to possess syringes and needles alone or together. Still is to an extent. Often varies by jurisdiction, can only be acquired in limited amounts and only from a pharmacy, blah, blah, blah. The wise move is to leave it at home and pre-fill enough to take with.

Think about it, did the cop detain you until they ran tests to check for illegal drugs in the syringe, your juice? If not then they were just being dicks.

Not really... Coulda been worse. If they wanted to be dicks they could have towed tge car to the impound. Detained you untill test results came back negative & tge you would have been stuck with impound fees & tow truck bill. Your out what 1.00 for a needle.

What cartos do you use? And on what PV?

I agree with the syringe filling. I use the Ressurector cartos and they hold a lot of juice. I find the condom method doesnt work as well with big cartos like the Ressurectors and dripping takes way to long for a carto that big.
I recommend using a larger carto like the Ressurectors or others bc they last quite awhile. I leave early in the morning for work and dont get home till night and never run out of juice. THe Ressurectors hold 2ml of juice so I just fill 2 or 3 with the juices Ive been vaping daily in the morning and then you dont have to worry about having to carry a needle to refill.
Save the rubber condoms that come with the cartos bc they work great to ensure your spare filled cartos wont leak or anything. After filling put a rubber cap on both ends and you can easily carry a few in your pocket all day and then just use them as needed. Thats what I do and it works well. Then the next morning I refill again and Im good for another day

Like some other people mentioned the bottles that have a syringe on them work good too.
I wouldnt get one where the needle is permanantly on the cap like the one in that picture was because they are easy to break the needle and it makes it hard to carry in your pocket.

I cant think of the vendor that sells them right now and Im not on my computer so I cant look it up, but you can get bottles like the needle ones that allow you to screw a luer lock needle onto the cap. This is much better than the ones that permanently have a needle stuck to the top because they are much easier to carry around. You could just carry the bottle and youd also have to carry a luer lock needle, but I think thats a lot less suspicious than having a needle attached to a syringe.
If a cop finds just a needle, you could def make something up that you use it for. Then when you need to refill just uncap the needle, screw it onto the bottle, fill your carto, and recap the needle and put it away.
