im pretty sure im aligning them right but i want to make sure, i align the ends of the oval with the ends of the thing that looks like a bridge from the top is that right?
Look further into the atty, there is what appears to be a white oval ring at the bottom...this is how I have always thought it is done - Line up the oval part of the cart with the oval ring in the atty.
I could be mistaken, but I don't get melted carts, so I assume I am doing it right.
I'm assuming you're using a 510 cart. If you aren't then I have no experience with it.
I've read that you should align the cart with the oval ceramic piece around the bridge, or about 90 degrees to the bridge, and it seems to be working fine for me thus far. I believe this is really to prevent the carts from melting when HV vaping, and I'm not sure it makes a difference one way or another with standard 3.7v vaping.
Deschain got it right...here is another way of looking at it.
This is something like what the bottom of the cartridge looks like 0
This is something like what the two white insulators (down in the atty) look like :
Now watch....( 0 : ) slide that zero over top the two dots--that's how they would look.
well if i look into the atty it kinda looks like this (l) <- lol and i line the cart up like this (l) 0 what everyone else is saying is to do it like this (l) and instead of the cart in the last pic, its rotated 90 degrees so the looking down at the atty the "thing in the center that looks like a bridge" is on its side (-) and putting the cart on like this 0?
