Hey guys, I am kind of new to the whole atty & cart combo (always was a carto guy). So I fill my cart to the max, and vape for a bit, and i find myself filling it very often. The thing is, when I start to taste that nasty taste of batting or whatever that taste is, I take off the cart and pull the batting out 3/4 of the way, and see that my fingers are still getting drenched in this liquid. Isn't this stuff supposed to drain down into the atty? Or is this like the general amount that just stays in there, and only when it is soaked does it go into the atty, and once it gets passed being soaked, and is just wet, tastes bad again? Or am I doing something wrong, or maybe there is something I need to do to correct this?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I still use carts and attys because for my taste buds the carto just doesn't cut it. But what my wife and I do EVERY SINGLE TIME is top off the cart before usage till its full. And with our 510 carts we slop in a lot of juice, because they never seem to flood and in fact the more they are soaked and gurgling the better it seems to taste.

For me much better than dripping because once topped off you can puff away a pretty long time, and just re-top next usage.

Try a new filler. Your existing one may not be contacting the bridge of the atty enough. I don't bother with the filler that comes with them. I use the Teabag mod with great success.

Okay, this was the first thing I tried when I got home. I assume the bridge is supposed to hit the teabag material? I put 10 drops in, and I tasted a slightly different taste (maybe from the tea bag material?), and i got about 7 vapes out of it before I started to taste that. But I am filling it more now as it seems it can hold ALOT more than 10 drops. This is great, I am just wondering if most of this liquid will come back out to be vaped, or just be a place holder for the next series of drops.

Yes, the material should come into contact with the bridge. When I first fill a brand new one, it takes around 15 drops. You are correct in that you get about 6-10 toots before you need to add more, usually around 3 to 6 drops depending on your vaping style. I puff all day and I don't mind topping mine off often. I use two ecigs at a time and just alternate between the 2. I find this works best for me.
