Over the past few weeks I've tried three or four different cart fillers with varying degrees of success (failures really)and over the past week or so I've tried the Pyramid Tea Bags which seems to be a popular choice across the forums. The only thing TBH is I don't have the patience to mess about cutting & folding etc. So I bought a pack of the little roll up tips yesterday & after the initial trimming to get the right ammount in without clogging I've had a real success with them,I just wondered if anyone else who has has tried them has had any problems longer term ?

The swan filters have been tried by a few and failed miserably. There is a new ptb method with a fold at the part that touches the atty. I'm trying it now and will report back lol. That Fluval is available at pet shops I think. Something to do with fishtanks iirc

Jeff that new ptb method sounds even more like an origami number than before lol.:D

I tried fish tank filter stuff but didn't have much success, it always seemed to hold on to the liquid. I had a little more success with using the minimum amount possible but still didn't rate the stuff much.

Then I tried Swan rollyerown tips and they just kept the juice completely. epic fail

I tried the liptons fusions PTB and they seem to be my best performer so far (with the fold at the atty end) although, they don't seem to be the same material as the yanky PTB use

I even used some wool felt stuff I got from the haberdashery which was reasonable but not as good as the PTB (uk version).

I'm still looking for the perfect wicking material tho.

I'm still using the tips I bought at the local market a few weeks ago now & they are working an absolute treat ,at first I was stuffing in too much and when I topped up the filler was swelling up and not doing anything except clog up, but I now cut about a third of the diameter off to use then loosen the filling a bit before putting it in my cart & cutting it to length, once you get it sussed to work on your own particular e-cig - Bingo !! it's a great vape and less hassle in my opinion than all that messing about with tea bags (sorry jefflan lol), I did check out the swan tips ( long skinny things ??) after seeing a few negatives about them on this forum but they are slightly different from the ones I bought however I would assume the same principle should be used I.E. loosen it off a bit before filling your cart.

What I'm doing at the moment is buying the prefilled Tobacco flavoured carts for my titan 510. When there getting low I top them up with what ever e-liquid I have (currently marlboro). I've just taken the filling from ten carts washed them in hot water and left them to soak with a bit of washing up liquid. Rinsed them and left them soaking again in just hot water and then dried them out. They seem to be working ok at the moment when I put them back together. I'm new to this and I've only been vaping for 12 days. I've tried the PTB's which seemed to work ok also but I'm finding cleaning the old prefilled carts easier at the moment.

Hi bobalot,I think the name of the game with your e-cig is to find what works best for you & stick to it.The forum is a great place for learning about e-cigs and the forum members are all friendly & helpful to any new members. I'm still using the roll up tips & to be honest I'm surprised that so many people didn't get any joy with them as now that i've got it sussed it is hassle free to fill ,I get a great vape and one roll up tip will fill three carts & last for at least a week :D.
