Our "new" backyard wildlife... I live on the Gulf, and saw these pictures on the local news last night.

It's quite disturbing, I know. (I didn't mean it be to so big ..).Makes me sad

It's sad. Reminds me of the Exxon incident. The oil is suppose to hit our beaches tomorrow, it's already been reported offshore. The newsmen are all over town, our cities are on the Networks. I just hope that it (the publicity) does some good, brings awareness. Our tourist revenue is shot, local fishermen already out of work, the oil is everywhere (down the coast), it's going to take years to clean up. But the saddest part is the wildlife that's being killed already.

I got a PM yesterday, from a fellow trader, his postal clerk wanted to 'trade places and go to Florida'... but part of living on the coast is dealing constantly with Mother Nature (one hurricane after another) We barely get over one, and then another hits. But this, this was man. THIS could have been prevented.

Yes, that pic was on the front page of my newspaper this morning. I hadn't seen it last night. It looked like The Creature From The Back Lagoon. Ironically, it truly is from the black lagoon. That poor bird is so covered in goop, I can't even make out a bird in it. Very sad.

Ahem...Could someone remind me where we got these from and how much they were per pack (this isn't the original thread with that info.)? I know, dweeb here. I do remember they are 808s and someone said they were comparable to the turbos (that's why I jumped in). I'm thinkin' I need to keep track of what I've tried!

I'm still kind of a carto newb. Got filled 808 cartos from Heaven Gifts first, and they made me cough with every draw. Got prefilled 510s next. They were much better but the prefill juice sucked and they didn't work when refilled. These are the first blanks I've had, and I love them so far.

I won't know for sure until I take one apart after it's vaped out but upon inspection they appear to be just plain old garden variety 808 cartos. They have the old two piece top and the stuffing isn't filled high. Without looking at the guts, they look exactly the same as cartos I've purchased from several vendors (i.e., not V9 or V4L).

these look like a normal 808 carto, but I put it on a Xhaler @ 6v and it hits pretty good.. no burning taste. and it doesn't feel like it's heating up, but it could be big hopes on my part. I'd test it with my multi meter, but my MM is krap.
