Carto cuttong tool

Anyone see the aluminium tool for cutting cartos. Costs $40.00 but looks like it would last a long time.

I have a saddle valve The only problem over time the point dulls and if not perfect will go to the side. This looks like it would outlast 10 saddle valves. We are running 6 or 7 tanks right now so we punch a lot of cartos.
Haven't bought it yet but sure thinking about it.

Fair enough never used one myself.

Granted I have no experience punching cartos myself, personally a nail, hammer, and a small towel (to hold the carto) seems like the best alternative to me.

But then again right now I am in my *freak its getting close to x-mas, I need to save additional money, what the BLEEP am I going to get everyone* mode. So that may also have something to do with it. lol

Yeah, pricey when the self-piercing saddle valve will do the same job. However...I'd buy it for $20-25 if it had the same kind of spike with the t-handle.

Drac--I've got one of those saddle valve carto punchers
and was having trouble with the "sliding" and fixed that by actually
using a screwdriver to tighten the posts--I was doing it by hand and
it wasn't tight enough--no problems since then(maybe most people were
always doing it that way)
