Did a little surgery today...........the teabag lived

Being a Paramedic,with access to all kinds of medical devices and tools,I decided to try out the pyramid teabag mod I saw on youtube.I'm not a fan of dripping(love my cartos and tanks).....but I have to say in a pinch this works rather well.I had a standard 510 atty that I thought was D.O.A.(did not have to call T.O.D. time of death) followed the instructions shown in the video.The taste is totally different than the filler in the carts,brings out the flavor of the juice(scratches head)maybe the filler is the key to taste.Now pondering as do quite frequently would this work in a carto he asks himself.I have a couple of kanger h coil cartos that the filler has gone.......well shall we say nasty,but the coil is still rockin hot.I may have to book the O.R.and see if this is possible another day (plus i'm out of teabags)This has some possibilities may need to make a tool to set it around the tube in the center.

Yeah for a straight up cart it's great.

Aquarium foam also works well but it's a little more fiddly, better with thin juices tho cause PTB can leak a lil.

As for a carto, never tried myself, found they worked well enough but I just used straight up boge standards and never salvaged em.

PTB and blue foam where two of the reasons I fell off the wagon last year and cartos where horrible experience for me also. It wasn't until this year when I saw the tanks (not carto tanks) that I was able to get back on the wagon.

Any way just dealing with carts (PTB, foam and poly filler) where just to much of a hassle. I hated having to remove the filler to fill the cart. I just want to vape! Not spend time filling carts for an extended out of house excursion.

wow... i couldn't even imagine trying to use the itty bitty carts that come with atties these days... if its an atty, straight up drippin is the only way for me... (cept for that DoD that i keep seeing... i wanna get one!)

The HP mod was the closest thing to dripping in the day. I would still be using it today if I vaped thinner juices. That being said, I probably would not have came up with the calibre series using carts

I should clarify, when i started, i was all about the blue foam filler... didn't care for the PTB method... then i discovered i didn't have to refill it every 20 min... LOL... drip drip drip... oh? hello? cartomizer?? don't mind if i do...

now i use cartos or drip.

A whole new purpose would be recycling. Drink the tea, empty the content, wash the bag, let dry and PTB that sucker You get 10 Al Gore points toward reducing your carbon footprint

They work very well, although the bottles are a bit fragile. Got me back to using attys again sometimes.
And after 18 months, nobody I see on a regular basis are surprised by the size or shape of my PV....
