Carto -> Dripping Atomizer?

Can I take out the filler in a carto and just use it as it were an atomizer? The carto is a Smoktech XL 1.7ohm, if that matters.

I just got in two more juices that I want to try, but I only have one clean Carto left, and a carto with a flavor in it that I didn't enjoy. I'd like to be able to use the one that I didn't enjoy as my tester for these two and see which one I want to have a full carto of untill I get more in.

In theory it works, but taking the filler out will likely.ruin the coil or damage it which can cause a short and ruin your battery.

Plus you'd only.get a quick hit before it tastes dry

Clean the carto that has the flavor you don't like- they aren't as good as new when cleaned, but if you do it right they will work just fine. I have done it before, don't use cartos anymore, but there are some great tutorials with cleaning methods.... or you could buy an atty and enjoy a real vape hahahha

Is it possible? Yes. Will it work well? Very slim chance.

Cleaning the carto would work (I've had mixed results) and it will take a day or two for it to fully dry before you can use it.

Either keep a lot of cartos on hand so stuff like this isn't an issue or pick up a couple of atomizers for testing juices. You can never have too many backups when it comes to vaping.

Any time I've tried (carefully) disassembling a carto I've ended up pulling some bit of something that's not filler out. I'd just get a bridgeless and save the headache. It's what they're made for.

I've done this successfully. Just pull out the filler, slowly and carefully, with tweezers. Here's a video.
