Carto life in tanks

What kind of time are you all getting? I have been using the smoktech pre drilled 2.5ohm dual coil cartos in my tanks for a while now, but I'm only getting 4 or 5 days out of them before they start tasting funny, not burnt, just different and they tend to start flooding a little bit at the same time. Do the smoktechs just not work very well, or is this pretty typical? Is there a superior carto for VV vaping with a tank? They sell the smoktechs at the local brick and mortar store pretty cheap, but I wouldn't mind paying more for something that didn't have to be replaced as often.

I bought a DCT a few weeks ago just to try it out. I'm not sure what brand of carto I've got in mine, but I'm only getting about 5 days or 3 fills out of it before they start tasting funky. Kind of disappointing, but that's the way carto's are anyway. I've just started trying to clean a couple to get more life out of them, don't know how it's going to work yet because they're still drying out. I wish someone would come out with a reasonably price atty tank. I love my atty's, carto's not so much.

Sounds about right to me. I get around the same time and yeah, it does start to taste a little funny during that time. Sometimes it's hard to tell if it's burnt. A good experiment is to dissect it and see what it looks like inside. That way you'll have a better idea of what's going on.

theres always the DCT tanks that use CE2 innards instead of a carto or for atty users, they have the vapemate at Super T or i think its madvapes that has the DoD(drip on demand) thats all my

I use Boge 3.0 but I cut down the tank so they fit. I recommend them and they last different times depending on Juice type, darker more VG type of juice tend to last 5-7 days, while lighter colored more PG type can last me up to 3 weeks. for $6 for 5 I can take the plunge

with a dark, heavily flavored/sweetened juice I only get a day or two.. with clear, lightly flavored juice that I diy, I can get a week or two and more.

Like the other people here have said, darker juice or heavily-flavored juice tends to kill my cartos faster. So does juice with a high VG content. I tend to use Boges, though, so it may be slightly different for the Smoktech.

I order my juices from Ms. T's Bakery and they don't provide the PG/VG level but from what I guess, it's about 40/60 or 50/50. The juices vary but most of them are thick. I get about 5-7 days out of my boge 1.7 ohm cartos.

Well, from what you all are saying I may not get much improvement, but I think I'll order some boge 3.0 ohm mega cartos and see if they work any better.
