Carto Punching

What do you use? I'm searching around, I've heard good things about the carto punch, but they are hard to get.

Try using a saddle valve..they are much cheaper and do the same job.

I use the one from avid vapor but it was totally luck! I purchased a lot of cartos, tanks etc... In the classy's & this was in there! It's wonderful! I'd been trying to get my hands on one after seeing Bursado's recommendation.

I also use the saddle valve. Works wonderfully and I picked it up at my local hardware store for about $6. I was using an inline bullet tap valve that I purchased from amazon but my juices are a bit thick and it just wouldn't punch holes big enough.

Aluminium Cartomizer Punch V4 This is the best one there is IMO this is the first one like it the rest that look like this are not as good copy's. VIPs carto punch has a colbolt punch its alot harder than SS so it dose not where out the cheaper ones Ive gotten the tip mushrooms after awhile and deforms your carts witch leads to jacking up your tank O rings. You can file a new point on your tip but for a few extra dollars why not get something that is pretty much maintenance free.

Alot of vendors carry carto punches. I like to use Vapor Alley (they are also on the suppliers here and have record shipping)

I called my local home depot today & they said they didn't have a saddle valve I'll probably just get one online, I have a box of boge cartos that need punching soon!

I used one of those circle deals with the wing nut some vendors sell.

I tried the saddle valve deal and I end up breaking it lol.

If you don't mind me asking how did you get the name scace? It sounds like a graffiti name to me, or you are part of a break dance crew heh.

I always buy the pre-punched, laser-drilled cartos (Ikenvape) for my tanks. I believe that the majority of carto punch tools available distort the steel casings of carts from round to oval, which can put unnecessary stress on the rubber o-rings in the endcaps of tanks. These o-rings are what keep your tank from leaking, and can be a PITA to replace.

Yeah i'm not gonna buy the $40 punch lol i'll probably just wind up buying pre-punched

just picked up one of these and works pretty good. no sight hole but after a while you dont really need it
