I've been having so many issues with my Nautilus tanks lately (odd flavors, flooding, dry hits) and I've decided to go with a carto tank, and I just have a couple questions.

1. How does the flavor/vapor compare to that of a Nautilus tank?

2. How does the flavor/vapor of a carto tank compare to a plain carto?

3. How long will a (punched) carto last in a carto tank?

4. Which carto tank should I buy? Price isn't really an issue, just know that it's going on a Provari (I also have a Loki Labs ring available), so a 19 or 22 mm device would be preferred.

5. Which cartos should I buy? I've heard that Boge low resistance cartos are great.

no adjustable air flow. you will choose your air flow by choosing your preferred carto.

boge double laser punched cartos have a loose draw similar to a properly working protank or protank II. they're available at surevapes.

best carto tank to start with would be from ibtanked IMO.

how long the carto will last is a steep variable. i got a couple weeks of dedicated vaping off my last one. my wife was about a month. my dad is nearing 2 months on his first carto. sweetness and darkness of juices will render a carto dead faster than juices that aren't sweet or dark.

in a carto tank, the carto does all the work, so i'd presume flavor and vapor would be identical to that of just a carto.

can't compare to a nautilus as i won't be buying one.

I second the IBtanked. The way I usually do my cartos is change them when I start a new bottle of juice 30 ml (I have like 7 of them) When Im not using them I put them in a old prescription bottle and set the juice on top. When I finish the bottle I toss the carto. I don't like the idea of using a carto anymore then this.

Even though I own a Nautilus, I've never done a side-by-side, same-eliquid flavor comparison.

2. How does the flavor/vapor of a carto tank compare to a plain carto?

The same. The benefit you're getting from a carto tank is capacity.

3. How long will a (punched) carto last in a carto tank?

Up to 30ml of eliquid (give or take) depending on flavoring and viscosity, and how sensitive your taste buds are.

4. Which carto tank should I buy? Price isn't really an issue, just know that it's going on a Provari (I also have a Loki Labs ring available), so a 19 or 22 mm device would be preferred.

IBTanked or Phiniac. Or both!

5. Which cartos should I buy? I've heard that Boge low resistance cartos are great.

I've actually had pretty good success with the Smoktech XL cartos, their double-punched, dual-coil models, and the Boge pre-punched LR cartos.

I'd love to get my hands on some Ikenvape cartos because they seem to be pretty well thought of, but they're always out of stock when I go looking.

For me, the single-punched cartos work pretty good up to a 50/50 PG/VG ratio. Any higher VG than that, I like double-punched.

i have at least 4 boxes of LR mega platinum punches. if you're interested send me a PM. i can then post a FS thread in the marketplace here and we can hash out the details per forum rules.

i got them when they were in stock and didn't want to be stuck hunting for them if we liked them. we didn't and now i have a ton of them we'll never use. personally, we think the draw is too tight. though, it is pretty loose if you take an easy draw.

EDIT: i'm going to leave this here for the sake of keeping things complete. BUT!

i'm going to try to get an rma via new found info here... http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...h-v2-tight-draw-fixed-post-62-video-86-a.html

if i still don't like them, the offer will still stand. though, not sure when that will be applicable again. ikenvape hasn't been the fastest at replying or filling orders for me thus far.

i guess i should refrain from trying new things 7 boxes at a time for the future.

My vote for Ib Tanked - pretty, pyrex, and leakproof. I use a combination of the smok cartos he sells (flanged, which I love), Boge double punched SR, and Ikenvapes (current problems with those, but supposedly the best when they are fixed). Usually get about 30 mls or so out of one carto. Taste and vapor are the best of anything I've used except my Reo with RM2 (rda).
