I hear you Whistles, and I did check with someone who knows the rules before posting here, and did have to make an edit to my original post to make sure it was okay. This is an accessory, which enhances my use of V4L products - if V4L made something like this, I'd have bought from them. This supplier does not have their own sub-forum, and because it is not in direct competition with any V4L product, I believe it is acceptable, but if not, am happy for the thread to be deleted or moved somewhere appropriate. :)

Not to mention that these were built specifically for the KR808 with V4L in mind. As it stands you can't even get these currently with any other type of connection. Not withstanding the fact that the vendor has contributed to our specific community not just time but an incredible amount of valued information to help us enjoy our vaping experience, reduce our monthly costs, and make sure that we are all being as safe as we possibly can with the equipment that we purchase. Personally I cannot wait until said vendor supplies a 510 connection as half of my equipment is 510 based. I have to say while my understanding is that this is a subforum for V4L we have many new people that will initially spend a rediculous amount of money trying to find their perfect vape many of which may not venture off this subforum because the our little community is as tight as it is. Educating new vapers should take precedence over any subcommunity clique mentality if it will help those new vapers to stay in the game by reducing their costs, reducing their frustration, and helping them find the perfect vape. The idea is simple, we are attempting to make sure that the vaping community survives and as it stands we have a long road ahead of us with much opposition from much larger entities that could stand to lose a ton of money if vaping takes hold and starts appealing to a much larger number of analog users. Personally I would rather be a part of the vast majority of success stories rather than just another failed attempt at quitting smoking and if posting OT / vendor unrelated information can contribute to those success stories, then I say so be it. While V4L is the company that I can say might have saved my life and I am committed to purchasing whatever makes sense to buy from them, it is our duty to help our peers in their success. In my limited vaping time of just under 4 months I have converted 8 analog users over to ecigs and direct them all to V4L to get them started. If any of them get into cleaning and drying cartos I will be surely telling them about the CartoDryer.

Oh I am so getting one!!!

I have to say that I have gone through an amazing number of cartos since I have started vaping and as you can see its only been 89 days. I am horrible with getting them clean. I think a huge majority of my issue stems from not getting enough force to dislodge that which is still inside when I dry them. My belief is that although we can get real close to getting them clean its usually not enough based on the amount of additives in the juice. I am a firm believer in the idea that this device will help alleviate some of that excess that we are just not capable of getting clean ultimately extending the life of the carto.

SIC08869, that is why I boil mine out. Then I would do the sling and spin method. Today when I boiled them out I tried drying them in my dehyrator. It worked great but... This looks so easy!!!

I have done the boiling method too, and it seems to work well. I have also tried the oven drying and that worked ok also. What I am find with all of them is if you spend too much time on one carto the likelihood that you end up with residue is considerably higher making it increasingly difficult to get it as clean as it should be. When I boil the draw gets hosed half the time it seems, sometimes the results are perfect other times its the round filing cabinet that the carto goes to.... :(

Well said SIC!!! It is about helping each other on our vaping journey.

I am sure I read somewhere that boiling might be a bad idea. I flush them, soak a while, flush, pour boiling water over, allowing them to soak & then flushing them does seem to work well though. A little time consuming though.
I tried oven drying once only, cos none of the cartos worked afterwards.

Not all of us are 'handy' enough to make our own. You can also buy replacement centre posts for this. And  on the ceiling fan idea, sounds messy!
Oh i totally understand the not being handy enough. I'm far from a wiz in that department, but i'm going to give it a go and see what i can come up with.
with the ceiling fan.... it'd only be messy if you didn't cover the end. Just put the clear cap on the end to catch the liquid and it'll stop anything flying out across the room :)
