I will be needing a polished, stainless mini with a charcoal tube to go with a new acquisition. (**fingers crossed**)

You would be talking about something like this????

They really are an awesome addition to many Pv's and no matterr what carto I throw at the damn thing it won't leak.

A couple of new things: Stainless Steel will have 2 new finish options, in addition to the original Mirror Gloss. Brushed and Satin Caps will be out this week. Brushed was available at Vapercon, but Satin is brand new. These will be a little cheaper than the gloss. Not sure how much yet.
From the left is Gloss, Satin and Brushed.

And these may not make it this week, but are out within a week or so...Stainless Steel tubes for all Cartomators... For those needing an indestructible tank that looks nice also.
These will probably be sold separately for those that already have a Cartomator and also as a complete tank. This one has Satin caps, brushed tube with Satin trim.

I have considered it on a limited run, but with the price of lead-free brass rod at $42+ per foot and the maintenance factor of red metals, it would almost have to be a preorder situation.

If you do a run, I might be interested in a preorder. I'm assuming that brass would have the same anti-microbial and bacterial characteristics of pure copper, so it would just be an issue of the occasional reshine.

I'd buy into that too....maybe a shorty and a standard.

Actually I might consider it just on verbal commitments. Just so I know I'm not stuck with unused $400 brass rods. I would expect them to likely cost about $10 more than SS. So likely in the $65 range. It is not bad because brass machines easily and doesn't wear out tooling as fast as SS. Otherwise, the cost would double SS. The other truth is you would have to brasso the caps about every 2 weeks to keep it shiny. Although the patina is ok too.
