This question has come up a few times, and there are several methods that have been discussed:
- Brother Ptouch labeler: works great, but the labels peel off over time. Not a big deal to some, and some cover the label with scotch tape.
- small colored rubber bands: works great as long as you can remember what color goes with what flavor, and you have enough colors to cover all the flavors you have. Could also use multiple colors, such as yellow and red for strawberry banana. Cheap an locally available at drug stores or grocery stores.
- Silver or Gold sharpie marker: works ok, but the markings wear off rather quickly.
- Electrical shrinkwrap: works great, and can effectively change the color of the whole carto if you want it to. You can also use small bands of different colors if desired. Fairly cheap, but finding lots of colors locally may be difficult. Here is a link for an online supplier:
2.1 Heat Shrink Tubing – Professional Grade Insulation and Flame Resistance. You will need a heat gun, small torch, or even a bic lighter will work.
- Multi colored electrical tape: works ok, but can come off easily. Only a few colors are available at your local hardware store.
- Different color drip tips, or soft mouthpiece endcaps: Smokeless image has the soft mouthpiece endcaps available in 10 colors. Inexpensive and effective.
