i just do not see how the hell you guys are burning those carts up unless they ate really cheap or you just do not know what you are doing. i have dissected lots of mine .i use 5 carts for a week only and then dissect them . i could probably use them longer and may start doing that . the thing is that i do not fully empty my carts out till the point they will burn up . hell how can you stand the taste even before they get to that point . i feel an empty (blank) cart with 20 - 25 drops vape it till it gets a slight flavor change then it will top off with 10 drops , so it is only getting half empty . i do that 3 times then rinse the cart and start over . i only rinse a cart about 3 times . so i use refiill the cart about 15 times. when i dissect it it almost looks new .

I've torn apart a couple carts that had been used for about a month, there was a little discoloration on the fabric and the filler was no longer white. But the juice I was using in those had some Capellas chocolate in it. I love the KR8 / Atomz at 3.7 and on my PS PT, and V1 Prodity with the mechanical switch. Can't wait to try them on the V2 when it get's here. Ordered some Riskee and CashCap with it, so should be in vape heaven.

I was asking about cartomizers with my prodigy in another thread.......and the guy who said it's like a BRAND NEW CADILLAC was absolutely right!!!!

Yeah, the vapor production is EVER-SO-SLIGHTLY less than with my 510, but THE TASTE.....oh my goodness the taste........it's like a brand new atomizer every time I puff!!!!
Throat hit feels the same as my 510.

One question for anyone reading this.............the drags I get off my cartomizer are noticeably warmer (and noisier) than with my 510. Is this normal?

Yes.. I'm almost Atomz / cartomizer only.
I'll still run a 510 every now and then but the carts are so carefree and last a while. As long as you don't burn them dry they'll last a month or so. And I get tons of vapor. TONS!

If the juice is really sweet or gummy they can goo up but then I just wash them out with PGA (Pure Grain Alcohol / Everclear). Adds a little throat hit too 8-o

Yes. Quite normal. Warmer (like real smoke) tastier (way better tasting then a 510), and noisier (depending if you are using an adapter or not)
I'm sold on cartos. I occasionally drip w/ a 510, but for "out and about" its cartos all the way

What ? Was that a statement relating to something here or is it a "woops" wrong thread thing??

Oh! Look !! A Chicken ......................................

I'm sure he was referring to the cart material burning because it hasn't been kept wet.

I bought cartomizers from heavengifts.

For me the experience is different. When the carto starts to taste burn I just fefill them, but then after 3 or 4 refills the problem is not burning taste but low vapor instead and after the vapor production drops there is nothing that I can do (still) to bring them back.

When I took apart the first carto it did had a hole on the fiber where the coil is but the fiber didn't have that brown/black burning look, it's just white with a hole.

The thing that I can't understand is that the carto still reads the same resistance as when new, so the problem is not at the coil itself like when a regular atty dies, the problem is that little hole on the fiber. So my logic says that is really a wicking problem. The solution seems simple, just reacomodate the fiber so the hole moves away from the coil, but I haven't been able to succed cause the fiber is too tight in there

Some of the best blanks I've got to date wer from PS when they had them in stock.

I have a couple that I know I've refilled 10 or 15 times.... If the liquid is a flavor like coffee or vanilla it tends to gunk up the batting and it doesn't refill or vape right...

I've sucessfully washed a couple out but it's a pain the the ... so I quit...

For me it depends on the liquid...

So far, I haven't seen a single burned fiber in my 510 or Ego. I've used the blue foam, Walmart flammable polyfill (not treated), and the pyramid tea bag mod. I check for burning, melting, and crinkling when I re-fill. The key is to align the cart correctly to the atty bridge. keeping the close (long) side behind the bridge and the far (short) side exposed to the atty coil. Still, you'd think that loose fibers would burn or melt and shrink.

I'd also think that the atomizer on the cartos would be protected from direct contact with the coil. Isn't there some kind of wicking device or does the filler media actually contact the coil on the KR8?
