Which will you choose?

While waiting for my vivi nova and smoktech dct 3.5ml to arrive and meet my vamo, decide to ask peep here which system you prefer :)

For a beginner in my 2nd week of vaping, carto appeals to me basically no fuss just change and vape on. However cost wise might've an issue. For etc if one last 3-5 day (5ml/day), that means at least 6 carto a month. However, clearo wise probably slightly longer with proper maintenance but I dislike the wicking issue (seems to me not consistence compare to carto)

I know that ecig not allowed here but I wld like to ask if there is any problem ordering replacement carto/coil head in?

Awesome
Depends on what percent of PGVG juice you vape, use different size silica wick on your nova, they do make a different. You have to trail and error on this.

Carto works wonder with a tank since you can see the level of juice easily and top up and won't get a dry hit but i find that their taste are not as clean as the clearomizer.

Well, anything ecig related is not allow. Just my :2c: Vape on!:vapor:

Replacement parts are usually easier to get in. I use both, but i'll pick the clearo over the carto.

I get better flavour with clearos and they are easier to replace. Or better still u can learn how to rebuild the head and do it yourself.

I prefer cartos to clearos but I use mines in tanks as well. I still use vision nanos on my ego batts.

My first carto is vision nano. And it died on the 2nd day. I guess the problem might be that I've not let the juice fully absorbed on the first fill.

Waiting for my 2nd carto tank the smoktech dct later :)

Okie, receive my new toy both a carto and clearo to compare. Not sure if its a fair comparison but it should give me a rough idea on experience with both carto and clearo.

1st experience

Vivi Nova Mini

Easy to fill, get it start working in less than a min. Don't really like the vapor production but good flavor.

Smoktech DCT

I made a mess while filling and looking at a YouTube tutorial. Spilled my juice bottle on the floor 15 ml gone .. Take me 5-10min to get everything going. -.- vapor production was great and very strong TH. flavor wise still okay.

It's still too early to judge which works better for me, but I'm leaning towards clearo as of now for the easy operation. Looking at kanger t3 next to try out if I settle for clearo.

And yes, also got a joyetech eroll for my gf. Simple operation and it work well for something of that size. Good flavor and vapor. TH wise still acceptable.

sillica wicks tend to have more throat hit, but lose flavour as the wicks are long.
filler style wicks tend to have more flavor but less throat hit.

so IMO for flavor carto > clearo
for throat hit clearo > carto

Note: to use DCTs effectively, you need a PV that can output > 5Volts for it to be tasting good with TH.

IMO, didn't research, the reason clearo provide more throathit is because the wick dries up fast. Drag for an additional 2 seconds and you'll get hit really hard with a burnt vape.

That's the number 1 reason I sticked to cartos for my everyday vape.

Ok I just tested mini vivi nova on vamo. Flavor was good but somehow I feel that the draw is very tight and vapor production not fantastic compare to my stardust. Am I doing something wrong?

does your tank sit flushed on the vamo? if so u'll need an adapter to raise the sitting and get some air for a airier draw. or try loosening it abit.

the vision mini nova has some issues imo. if u want a good clearo try the innokin iclear 30.
