Hi,

I drip tip...I enjoy the intense flavor of it but I'd love to use a tank (dripping and driving is no way to live). So here I am at a cross roads, I love the idea of a tank set up system but can't seem to leave that loving flavor of a drip system. So far every cartomizer set-up I've tried has either been lacking in flavor, lacking in vape, lacking in TH or just not the right temp vape.

Any sugguestions on set-up's that may work, similar taste, vape and TH of a dripping atomizer. I run a VV/VW APV so powering the set-up isn't an issue with me. Again any advice on this matter is appreciated...thanks.

I'm right there with you in regards to flavor. I was a hardcore dripper for a year and a half. I haven't found a carto yet that could match direct dripping on an atty. While my first love is dripping, I have been using genesis style atomizers of late. The learning curve can be frustrating but when you get it right ,it's nice. Consider a DiD clone or the AGA-T as a relatively inexpensive intro to genesis style atomizers.

Possibly a Vivi Nova for when dripping is impractical? The Vivi is a compromise. It is not as flavorful as dripping,IMO, but dripping and driving isn't safe as you probably know.

I have only used a dual coil carto in a tank and didn't like it at all. I'm going to try again with a tank from IBTanked and some Ikenvape Platinum cartos as a few posters have recommended and I respect their opinions. Good luck with finding your solution.

I dont know what blend of pg/vg if any you use in your juices but I wouldnt recommend a Vivi Nova to anyone who uses high VG juices.I always get a flavor bump with my orders and even then Ive noticed the Vivi Nova mutes the flavor on those when compared to a carto tank.

Your other option is to try a couple of cheaper genesis style rebuildables

In respects to a DID or Genisis style I'm beyond frustrated with an SS Mesh system. I can build coils...lord help me I can build coils that will make clouds on a Phoenix...just can't seem to get the nack of an SS system. Its either it dosen't wick fast enough or shorts out or...yah. Maybe I'm just B-tarded on Mesh systems..I don't know.

I'd get a Odysseus but up until rescently they were beyond out of my price range, rescently a clone has shown up that I may invest in. Its slightly frustrating that once you've dripped you'll never go back :).

I'll give my DID a try again but only under some guidance of another whom works with SS Mesh systems...maybe then can get it running without that wonderful metallic taste...

Thanks for the info.

Cheap and Genisis never go hand in hand...this one I'd require some guidance on as I'm completly B-tarded on any SS Mesh system. Silica I can do all day long and in my sleep, hand me an SS Mesh and watch the chaos ensue. :)

I've asked Santa for a Reo (bottom feeder) so I can use an atomizer & drive at the same time.
Hey, LongHaul uses one & he's a trucker. That's good enough recommendation for this Cowdog!

Ok, have to admit that the Rio's are one sexy piece of mod beauty...unsure of bottom feeders though. Will have to do a bit more research before I dive in.
Thanks for the information and will consider this one ( writes down on future list of PV mods). ahh, almost two pages and going strong :)

I've thought about the ViVi Nova. Been putting 100% VG juices through my tube tank with the included cartos it is taking it like a champ. How much tinkering goes with the genesis?

A lot of people LOVE the Reo - I found it too fussy for me after the first enthusiasm and just gave mine away (along with other passing fancys. Such a beautiful, well crafted item, sigh.). Everyone's different, but I'm really stuck on the Vivi Nova - the 3.5 is terrific and certainly far better flavor than even the best carto. And totally hassle free.
