Cartomizers - Am I missing something?

When I got my 510 from Cignot, I ordered a pack of 5 cartos because I figured it would be better in the long run than buying atomizers AND carts in the future.

Yesterday I went to fill one up, popped the mouthpiece off no problem. Then there was another plastic bit a little further down. So, with much difficulty, I popped that out too. And then... there's nothing inside. Like, you can tell there's an atty down there, since when I dripped a little juice in, it got vaped. But I thought there was supposed to be some kind of batting as well?

Has anyone else ordered cartos from Cignot? Can you give me some tips on how I should go about filling them? I just hope I didn't waste money on something I can't use. Thanks in advance for any help!

As you say there is no filler inside I suppose you are talking about a CE2 carto. There is nothing inside them, just the atomizer and two ropes of the same material as the wick of a 510 atty. There is a video with a mod here::

Forget about cutting out the ropes at the first time, just follow the instructions to refill the carto. If it does not works properly, you can try the mod.
