So while I'm waiting for the V4L VG cartos, I've been filling my own & have a few ??. I'm hoping that those of you who have been using juice that is entirely VG or almost all VG might be of help.

1. The cartomizers seem to burn a lot hotter with only VG in them. In fact, I've been using a label maker to make labels for the blank carts & their are actual "burn" spots on some of those labels. When I mix the VG & PG at 50/50, this is not an issue; & it isn't a problem with the pre-filled PG carts from V4L Do I need to be concerned? And if so, how do I fix it?

2. I've now ordered quite a few different VG juices from 3 different vendors & found a few that are quite good. I've also had some that are reallllllllly bad & some that need a little tweaking. Not all of my "tweaking" has been successful, so I'd really like to use a more efficient way of testing the juice before filling up a carto.

I did some researching & believe using a 901 atomizer with my VK manual passthrough might be a good way to do this. Since I've never dripped (that sounds a little strange ), I'm wondering if any of you have done this & could lead me through it. I've done some reading on the DIY forum & 901 forum, but pretty much leaves me confused with so many different opinions, etc.

3. I've been thinning the VG with vodka. Would distilled water be better? Or does it matter?

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas & looking forward to a fantastic New Year!

For a few days storage I wouldn't do anything but blow hard into the battery end and use a paper towel to catch the juice that will fly out the other end. Then just stand it up as I said before.

If it does get junked up you can clean it out by soaking in pure grain alcohol (Everclear), vodka, or even diet coke. Then rinse with hot water, blow thru the battery end and dry it off.

Some people in the 3-piece forums give dire warnings about submerging attys in any liquid, but it never killed any of mine. I'll admit, I didn't use the 3-piece very long (few weeks) before I discovered the VK.

You are not being dense or a bother. That's what most of us come for... to either help or be helped.
