Thanks for sharing this with us, and you are getting to be a mighty fine detective :D

This is the type of stuff I live for. It is perfectly alright to go gaga over a product, but many fail to say why. This type of information sharing and interaction allows us to make educated decisions wrt products we purchase. Bravo to all and kudos to Isaac. :toast:

Isaac you do realise your job has become twice as hard now don't ya? :D Keeping the Chinese on their toes and maintaining adequate inventories :) Ya spoiled us, now we want nothing but the best :D :toast:

Thank you Switched! That means alot coming from you :) And you have inspired me to investigate, but I think I'm becoming obsessive about it LOL.

Bravo, WW! Very, very informative post. Thanks so much for all the research and time you put into this for all of us!

Thank you woods! It is only worth wild if others read it :)

Fantastic Job. Thank you, WhichWay. Can't wait to try mine...

Did you get yours today? I got mine from you and am getting ready to try them out. I'm not allowed to play with new stuff until I get my work done so had to wait until now :)

WitchWay.....Very impressive pictures.....how many drops to refill the carto?

Thanks EDO! I have gotten 30 in, but I like to stop around 25 so as not to overfill them. Then about once an hour or so, depends how heavily I'm vaping, I top it with 10-15 drops or until it looks wet on the top. I DO NOT do any of the shaking or spinning or any other trick to force the juice further into it. I just let it soak in on it's own. Too much juice and it vapes sluggishly. I keep them wet, but not over soaked, and never let them get dry. I think that was the main reason for the good results.

Thanks to everybody for reading!!! Happy vaping!!

I also want to say thanks very much for your contributions WitchWay! :) Tho I'm trying hard to stay off the 'net/forum more so I can maybe just maybe dig myself out from under a ton o' stuff, I still check in on this matter and have really appreciated your input! (Yeah watch out tho, vaping gear investigations themselves can be addictive in some strange way lol!) Gracias again and merry vaping to you too! :D

Oh, general note to anyone with some of these and/or other 510 cartos they're done with: One of our techie members, 'Vaporer,' is going to start looking into the carto burn matter generally and posted that he could use spent or even dead carto specimens of various types if ppl could send them. (For now, seeks only 510 and KR8 compatible, or 'adaptable without an adapter.' Says he doesn't even want or need new/unused ones.) I'm sending the types I have, and eventually it would be great if he could get a look at 510 cartos, in particular these intriguing ones!

Wow! I meant to reply late last "2" nights ago! "EDIT" lol when I got off of work, but ended up falling asleep!
Switch and Wway EXCELLENT Teamwork!! Just a beautiful collaboration of great minds!
We Definitely need to make this info known and easily accessible...hmmm

I tried the re-fill method from the mouth piece and it works! I never really gave these 510 cartomizers a real run for their money because refilling from their threads is, let's face it, messy. Either way a cloth is always at the ready for these guys, but it really does start to be more of a hassle with the upkeep. I was using them strictly for the past few days, well since i seen Switch's in-depth evaluation and method of instructions anyway with the gracious Wway photography, again just phenomenal guys!

I don't think so Synth, they could've been the "other" type of 510 carto's people may be getting confused with. For the first run, we had them and don't plan on carrying them again lol. To sum it up, we ordered Black & Pink from Slb and a few days later we ordered silver 510's from a 3rd party that promised they were authentic. We ordered fromt hem to avoid confusion and delays on the Slb side. You can rest assured Flavor and actual feel is on par with the Boge/Joye version. If they weren't we wouldn't of just ordered a few thousand. ;)

My pleasure MiA! You can tell Vaporer to PM me for used cartos. I only use mine for 3 days to a week then toss them. I don't wash them out and keep using them. I'll save my used ones for him if he wants them.

Aren't these SLB 510 cartos the same ones most people sincerely dislike compared to the Boge cartos? The general consensus is that they have little taste, vapor and TH, isn't it?

EDIT: I think I mixed up threads here - sorry. Who makes these? ;-)

Synthnadz, I have some of the Boge 510 cartos and they are nothing even close to these SLB ones. I have seen others says they like the Boge better, but I just don't see how. I got very little vapor from the Boge cartos and a funny aftertaste. The SLB 510 cartos produce great flavor and lots of vapor. I've been using one of Isaac's 801 LR attys and the hit on the SLB cartos is almost as good as the 801 LR atty.

Switched and I do work well together! He got the technical side and I got the visual and use side. His input was invaluable!!

Isaac I for one as so happy you found the SLB cartos and sent me one to try!!! I keep trading hubby's black ones away so you need to get more in LOL

Everybody keeps trying to make filling cartos more difficult than it needs to be... pop the top, drip down the sides, let the juice soak in, don't overfill, put the cap back on and vape :) No need to shake, spin or force juice further down in them. I acutally found that by using the spin method that the filler got further packed into the carto and the draw got harder faster, which may also cause them to burn more easily. Ok that's my :2c: again!

You took the words right outta my mouth, WW (no Meatloaf reference intended!). As I said in a previous post, I've been using cartomizers for a well over a year now with no burning and no problems...and I pretty much have always done what you outlined above. My mantra is, 'sometimes less is more', followed closely by, 'if it ain't broke...don't fix it'! Just my :2c:. (Hey, the coinage is adding up quickly...maybe we can pool it all together and )

Woody :)

Oh I love Meatloaf (not the food)! I have one more mantra for you 'work smarter, not harder'.

Yup! ya nailed it once again :)

At this rate I'll have to take the 'ditzy' out of my custom title.

Ya could always add "fiery" :)

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh I like it!!!!!

Ahhh, great mantra, WW! Guess you could say 'two outta three ain't bad'?

ROFL good one. The first song hubby and I ever danced to together was Lost Boys and Golden Girls so it was our marriage song also :) Of course that first dance took me a month of chasing him!!

I'm sitting here listing to Meatloaf now :)
